Brainworks McKinnon

Enrolled both my children at Brainworks Mckinnon. My eldest attended since primary school all the way till high school. He improved his Math and English skills and performed well enough to gain entry into a selective high school. My youngest is attending now. The tuition classes help her to gain confidence in her academic work and in herself. Very happy with the teaching staff and curriculum as I feel that the weekly workload and duration is more balanced than other tuition cram school I have tried previously.

Both my kids attend Brainworks and have benefited greatly from the tuition. Their maths, english and problem solving skills have improved significantly, and it has given them the foundation and confidence to tackle more complex problems.

John has a fantastic approach to building their understanding, by teaching them concepts and providing them with strategies to approach a problem. He provides regular feedback and customises the content based on the individual child.

When we were considering scholarships for the kids, John helped them prepare for the day by getting them to complete practice tests. Both ended up being successful in obtaining a scholarship to their school of preference.

More importantly though, Brainworks has provided my kids with a strong foundation for future learning. Before Brainworks, one of my children struggled to understand some maths concepts, now the same child is excelling in maths and regularly comes home with 100% on their tests.

I would highly recommend Brainworks/ John to anyone who might be looking for tuition for their child, whether it is for helping with learning challenges or scholarship preparation.
