Awesome large park with great paths, beautiful scenery, lots of birds and some bird hides, many picnic areas, great for exercise or leisure

Biggest and best park for a walk/ride around in the area. Plenty of picnic tables and playgrounds for kids too.

Large flat gravel course for walking, casual ride or jogging. Lots of parking. Weekends can be busy.
Lots of picnic grounds with rabbit/ holes.
Toilets are sparse and under construction.

Absolutely love running and walking here. The environment seriously takes you outside of metropolitan Melbourne and you feel a lot further from home than you are. A must visit for locals, plenty of grass to picnic and I’ve seen bbq areas situated as well. Parking is never an issue however there are numerous pot holes so beware if you have a lowered car like myself!

Beautiful park and playground but beware today we went and only 1 toilet available which was disgusting with no toilet paper.hundreds of people there today as expected as it was a beautiful day. Line a mile long to use the toilet, pretty poor. Female and male toilets blocked off for renovations.

Tons of parking if patient. Shade or sunny sites. Able to keep good Covid distance. Watch out for the bunnies.

A great place for a walk in the wilderness. Even during the day we saw rabbits, Moorhen chicks and numerous other birds and I bet if you went early or late in the day even more.
We didn't take the bikes but it would be a good option if you want to get around the whole park.

This is the second visit here now that we can picnic 15km away.
LOTS of space so that groups well distanced.
Parking is the only challenge!
Toilets, picnic tables and shelters dotted throughout the grounds.
Lots of walking/riding tracks so not too crowded either.

Terrible public toilets, there are 8 car parking spots with first 3-4 car parking areas no public toilets.more mobile or public toilets must be installed.it is nice and clean, much quieter today Saturday, but public facilities even small water fountains in the car park areas, as lots of walkers, cyclists, etc.

Awesome spot for a ride with the kids or a BBQ. The grounds on the facilities are really well maintained.

Bring your bike and go for a ride,

You will not regret it.

Great views, plenty of bike trails and no cars.

Could be a bit more looked after I believe. The "lake" is a bit disappointment but a nice walk in general, probably better enjoyed with a bike.

It is a wonderful park, with plenty of different trails and enough room for everyone, walkers, runners or riders. On a sunny day, there heaps of cute rabbits in different locations.

It's a great atmosphere to walk around and enjoy the nature. Kids can play in the grass very much. Don't miss out the rabbits in the evening.

Braeside Park is a great place for families and individuals to enjoy a snippet of nature in suburban Melbourne. It’s not unusual during the warmer months to see the odd you echidna as you walk around the park.

Slides. Climbing apparatus. Spinning balance wheel. Monkey bars. Giant abacus. Toy adjustable clock face. Kids seem to love it.
