Would definitely go back to this hotel.love everything about this hotel.

The location is magnificent…walking distance to many restaurants, shopping center, queen victoria market, and even a church (we went on Christmas holiday, so having a church within 2 min walk is trully a bonus)

They keep the hotel simple, but clean n cosy. The 2 bedroom city view was perfectly fit the 4 of us.

They had a laundry room for the guests, so we can do our own laundry anytime. They also had a gym room, not to big but comfortable enough.enough n comfortable.

Really recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Melb.

This apartment hotel is in a great location. The staff were excellent. The apartment is simple but comfortable. However I booked a room with a balcony hoping to be able to open the window and sit with fresh air coming in. Sadly I was disappointed to find that the balcony overlooked the noisy extractor fans of the next building and it was not possible to have the window open!

Brady Hardware Lane was the perfect accommodation for our girls weekend stay in the city. The apartment was spotless, quiet at night, no street noise, very helpful staff and centrally located to all city venues. Would stay again.

Great facilities and location. Easy check-in and exit. Services every day, changed towels, vacuum and wash floors. Changed bed linen on day 3. Great little laundry facilities. Will book again.

I stay in hotels A LOT! But except for one other occasion, I've never bothered to leave reviews. But this place is one of the more questionable hotels I've stayed at for several reasons:

The hotel:
- they charged my credit card the full fee a day BEFORE I checked in. They have a 24 hr cancellation period with minimal one night charge yet they still took it upon themselves to charge me before I actually checked in - very unethical
- they want a photo of government issued ID. Weird, with all the crazy data breaches occurring, it's recommended private entities DO NOT store this unnecessary data, yet they still expected a copy. I didn't provide it, just let them sight it upon check in
- the pics used to promote the apartments are stretched out and misleading. The actual apartment is small, very small if you consider the costs incurred
- photos online make it look like there is a bathtub, (and when I called the hotel to check, the person I spoke to told me there was a bathtub) but there actually isn't any which is VERY inconvenient when travelling with a companion who can only use a tub (for accessibility reasons)
- they don't do housekeeping every day. You can ask for fresh towels but goodluck getting a vacuum or dirty bin emptied.

The actual apartment
- there is no ducted air conditioning. On a hot day (was 35° when I checked in) I needed to blast the AC at 18° (we froze in the living area) just so cool air can seep into the bedroom and cool it down so we can sleep
- the actual apartment was very dirty. Tiles had previous occupants hair on the floor, carpet is stained in multiple locations, glass doors and outside balcony railing dirty with hand prints and smudges
- minimal crockery and cutlery provided. Only one drinking glass provided
- no tea towel provided
- phone in room not set up. Had to call reception from my mobile to report issues
- oddly there are very few electrical ports in the living area. Difficult to charge devices
- there is no shelving in the wardrobe, and it's difficult to tidy anything up or pack things away. Only one storage shelf and you need a ladder to access it
- the railing for the wardrobe is so high, one needs to be over 7 foot to use it
- to access the bathroom, one needs to go through the bedroom so it's really hard to have one person stay up while another sleeps
- the bathroom doesn't have a drain so any access water needs to be mopped with the towels to avoid a slip hazard (problematic as they only give you 2 towels and don't do daily room service)
- there are NO clothes hooks in the bathroom

The positives:
Overall the staff were pleasant and friendly. Every staff member I spoke to in person was hospitable, helpful and very kind. The blockout blinds were good and the sound proofing was great. They also accommodated late check out.

I felt very disappointed as I travel to Melbourne monthly and was very disappointed to pay premium costs for accommodation but get what I consider inadequate facilities. I'd only recommend staying here if you're travelling alone and don't mind the fact that cleanliness is questionable.

Edit on 14/3/23 as I can't reply to management so will do so here. @management, you won't find a record under my name here as I checked into your hotel using my full marital name. I provided all this feedback to your staff upon checkout, you weren't interested in contacting me directly then to address it. Just now you try to save face.

We had a two bedroom suite and it was tiny, filthy, and poorly appointed. The floors had not been vacuumed and there were hair in the bathroom, and food on the stove. Room servicing the next day did not include cleaning the toilet or emptying the bins. The fresh towels smelled quite stale as though they had been put away wet. The bed was beautifully comfortable which is thankful as the couch and chair provided were extremely uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning or televisions in the bedrooms. There was dirt on the carpets and the balcony had not been swept or washed in what would appear to be years. The windows was so dirty that you could not see out of them. There are numerous loud nightclubs on the street follow which go all night. We certainly will not be staying here again was neither enjoyable nor value for money. Staff were lovely but the hotel was not.

The apartment needs a good clean. Carpets are filthy, windows you can hardly see out so dirty, food crumbs in kitchen bench top Grove.
Upon arrival with a small family the room only had 2 towels, 1 fork, 1 glass and 2 dessert bowls so obviously not enough crockery for the guests.
Toiletries were meant to be supplied but all we had in the room to start with was body lotion in the shower!
Tried to organise a late checkout as we had young children and even offered to pay for another room if we had to get out of the one we were in but too hard to do for them. Paid good money for substandard accommodation that needs a good upgrade.

Room was not ready at check in time. Reception asked us to come back later. When we came back, the reception desk was still not sure if the room had been cleaned. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes for the room on top of our earlier wait when trying to check in the first time around. Pros: location of the hotel. Cons: furniture is spartan and not very comfortable. There are no decorations. There is deferred maintenance with lots of spots on hallway carpets. Our room had spots on the carpets. The kitchen was not really useable since we had so few dishes and silverware. If you are counting on preparing food, this place is not a good choice since the kitchen is minimally outfitted. Most importantly, there is only one AC unit in the room. It is in the living room so the bedroom is not being cooled directly. Our bedroom was an interior bedroom without a window. Overall, not a pleasant place or experience. Wish that we had moved to a different hotel.

This review is a shout out to Naylan (apologies if I got the spelling wrong). He made our stay for NYE perfect. Thank you for helping us to get a perfect apartment with great view!
If you are looking for great Melbourne view, get an apartment on the 18th floor. It’s rocking, your money will get paid off.

Really nothing special, weird layout and uncomfortable to sleep in.

Was generally clean other a dirty towel & dirty sheet. House-keeping was very nice.

We forgot a few of our souvenirs and some medicines at this hotel in room 903 on the 26th of December 2022. We called them around 9pm. Tim from the reception told me everything was thrown away. Unbelievable and shocking. We would at least deserve a confirmation call/email before they were thrown out.

Check in was 4 hours late (after 6pm), we were not notified of this until we were at the front desk to check in and were made to wait. Though we dropped our bags off at 11 and were told check in was at 2.
When discussing this with staff, one male staff member was very rude and gave us 'not my problem' attitude.
We understand that they were understaffed with cleaners, this wouldn't be a problem if they let us know via email or text, but we received no communication and were made to wait when we had deadlines to meet. 4 hours is unacceptable.
We were told to expect a call from management the following day, we still have not received any communication.
Besides rubbish being left under the couch, the room itself was lovely.
Unfortunately the customer service and lack of communication has ruined this experience.
I look forward to hearing from management.

When we checked in we got upgraded to a larger room on a higher floor. Its in a great location to explore the city with hardware lane outside the entrance to the building.
The staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful.

Location was great with numerous cafes and coffee spots within a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
The nearest major supermarket was only a 5 minute walk away.
If you're a foodie, the hotel is also surrounded with a variety of international cuisines.

The room was well maintained and kept clean. There was an issue with my room door on the first day but that was resolved within 15 mins with a change in room. The staff was also kind enough to provide me with an upgraded room for the rest of my stay (9 nights).

Overall, 5 stars for location, comfort and the efficiency and warmth of your staff! Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Melbourne

Base yourself here to explore Melbourne CBD. Hardware Lane is right at your front door with plenty of cafe & restaurant options. We stayed in a 1bedroom + study with king bed apartment. The apartment (except the bedroom) is spacious and modern with walk in shower, kitchenette, dining table, office desk and lounge. My only issue was the bedroom was small, the door did not close as it hits the king bed. Unfortunately the king bed was too big for the room but this was the one luxury feature we wanted in staying here. After informing the reception of this nothing was done to remedy or future prevent this issue.
Overall, exceptionally good value for the style/size of the apartment, convenient location and clean. Would stay again!

I’ve stayed in a lot of places across the world and the customer service from Nalon (sorry, prob got the name slightly wrong) was up there with the best. We requested to change rooms and nothing could be easier for him. Great place and even better service.

Other than the carpet and some bean shoots left in the kitchen sink, the property was very clean. Big bath sheets were provided, the beds were firm, though 'partner disturbance' was a problem, even in the king bed. The living-kitchen area, however, was way too small for comfort compared to similarly priced hotels, and the noise from the city was too loud at this location even during the day - we didn't even want to leave the balcony door open during the day, there was that much construction going on. Also, the nightclub 'Club Retro' is directly opposite the hotel and open til 5am on Friday and Saturday nights, so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Staff, however, were lovely. Overall, a 6/10 from our visiting group.

Stayed for 6 nights with family of 4.
Unbeatable location.
Service was great, all staffs we met were helpful and friendly.
Room was clean (apart from few stains on the carpet) and all amenities were supplied. Small living area, but it’s fine considering it’s Melbourne CBD.
Noisy on weekend, but weeknight were ok. Overall, comfortable beds and quality sleep.
Wifi can be improved. Poor connections at times.
Off-site parking is fine. Safe and short walk, convenient.
If planning to use the laundry, make sure to bring some detergent as it’s not provided.
