Boxy Fish and Chips

This unassuming place seems like any other fish and chip place in Melbourne but it is so much more. Easily the best Pakistani food I've had in Melbourne and the owners are incredibly hospitable and kind.

Bought nihari and haleem and both were mediocre effort to fool the customers by diluting the gravy to endless levels. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Excellent desi breakfast. The nihari was very delicious and the Puri was very fresh! The customer service was exceptional. Will definitely recommend to visit!

My family and I visited Boxy Cafe, a Pakistani cafe owned by a lovely couple. The breakfast buffet experience was truly fantastic. The wallet-friendly pricing was just the start, as the spread included a range of mouthwatering dishes. The halwa, puri, and lassi were outstanding, and the assortment of other choices, like the qeema, nahari, potato sabji and chaney were amazing. The puris were cooked fresh to order which added to the experience. This spot is a must-visit for genuine flavors and a welcoming ambiance. Would recommend to book in advance if more than 4 people are going. Definitely recommend to everyone in search of authentic Pakistani food in Melbourne.

Authentic Lahori taste. We have tried the breakfast and absolutely loved it. Nihari and chanay were too good. Keema, Aloo bhujia, paya, Halwa were also delicious but fresh poori and naan were the show stopper. Highly recommended!

What a quaint little place, delicious pakistani street food, the couple were lovely and welcoming, service was brilliant.definitely retuning.

Wonderful family owned establishment that serves authentic Pakistani style dishes for their Iftar buffet which did not disappoint. Great value for money and highly recommended.

The best Halwa Puri buffet brunch I've had in Melbourne. The nihari was absolutely divine, paye were exactly how they should be, and the lassi was just amazing.

If you are looking for authentic Desi Food this is the place to go. Running by a very hardworking couple from Pakistan. Best Paya, Best Fried Fish and Bestest Maghaz.

Food was delicious with generous servings. Warm and friendly service. It's a family run restaurant which you must visit if you are craving the flavourful food from back home. Do book in advance on busy days or times.

One of the best Pakistani breakfast options in Melbourne with brilliant customer service attitude. Came here from west side and I think travel was worth it.

Awesome Pakistani food and dessert by a very homely couple. Nihari, chapli and chai were awesome and we even got complimentary halwa to try. Will be back for the weekend buffet!

Very very very expensive! And unfortunately food was not worthed for the money we paid … will not come again at boxy cafe …

It was a expensive experiment.will not recommend anyone as there are better breakfast places around.
