Attending this store is truly an experience, the decor is other worldy - think wood tones & polished timbers. They sell & repair stringed instruments and associated equipment. There is an onsite repair workshop. Helpful & friendly staff

I can’t be happier with the violin (Guarneri by Chamber) and the team of Bows for Strings.
Would like to say thanks to Hannah for helping me find the right instrument and organising rental violin during the waiting period.
There has been a minor administrative mistake however it was well attended and solved immediately by Myles so thanks for that as well.
Can’t appreciate enough for your service and professionalism.

This music shop is highly recommended by my son’s school music teachers and conveniently located on a relatively quiet row of shops including a few restaurants, a trophy shop and wellness centre. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable on all things related to string instruments. Parking is easy and near the aquatic centre which has loads of spaces.

They are amazing! In addition to selling very high quality violins, they are also extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Just went to pick up my violin today (by chamber series Guarneri model)
Everything is exactly the same as he described in the video.
And the sound quality and tone, At the first page I knew it’ll be better than my old one, but turn out it actually even more than I expected it would be.

What a great experience!
I wandered in after having all my questions via email answered rather promptly. As I pulled up outside the store front I could see all the Luthiers both senior and apprentice hard at work through the window. Wandered in and everyone I encountered greeted me in a professional/courteous manner even though I was a little skittish about showing up in my Bunnings covered in sawdust attire ;) Without batting an eyelid I wandered out with exactly what I wanted, no hustle despite my efforts to drop in before closing time (apologies for this). #GreatToBETreatedLikeAnImportantCustomer/I witnessed others being treated rather well also. This is our go to place for anything violin related. Excellent customer service from both the team at the front as well as the team in the workshop. Definitely recommended. Just be careful as due to their popularity (especially at the start of school term), there can be the occasional wait.

The staff are absolutely amazing and especially patient. They always have your best interests at heart if you're having trouble deciding and are happy to recommend the pros and cons of the instruments and bows.

IT IS NOT A KUN! It’s a fake China brand.
I felt my shoulder rest support isn’t right. I blamed myself.
Guess what.what I found today.when I clean my room I found the invoice. They charged to me 17.5 dollars for fake a single shoulder rest food.

We recently bought a violin and a cello. Great spot for string instruments and we've been even given an option to take the instrument to show to the teachers and get their opinion even before bought it.

Not impressed! I am a violinist and teacher who has had dealings with every music shop and violin maker in the country. I was treated with disrespect and I see racism all over the proprietors face. I would avoid this shop if you are asian. Go somewhere else. Whitehorse Music is the best place where you are treated with respect and they have the best violins and other music items.

I had to change a string on my daughter's violin. The service was good and it's certainly an added point if you have some knowledge of the product you want. It makes it a little easier for them to help you.

Fantastic place, brilliant warm, knowledgeable and friendly staff. My partner gifted me my first cello (a lifelong dream) from here for my birthday nearly two years ago, today I went in and replaced my old bow with a new, much better quality bow and seriously got the best, personal service and care possible. Although I dropped in with no notice I got one on one care, was not rushed and my new bow is perfect as is my cello. Highly recommended
