Had a meal in the Bistro. The pork spare ribs were the best I have ever had, with generous fries and veggies. Awesome meal, and great value at $25. Was pretty busy, but still got meal served within 20 mins. New owners are doing a fantastic job. Worth the stop.

After being ignored the bar tender was so rude and unwelcoming we left before ordering anything.

What a great place to stay and I highly recommend. Comfortable accommodation, excellent service and what made it the best was the friendly country feeling. I felt very welcomed. Thank you

Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, beautiful locals and a lovely cold vase of jimmy, accommodation was comfortable and homely, nothing but positives, 2nd visit for us and look forward to another vist

Great place to rest. The hotel let us check in at 12 o'clock, and there was no additional charge!
The holiday restaurant is very crowded, and there are also chef's specials.
Night and sunset are unmissable sights
The room is very spacious, and the toilet is also big~ It is very suitable for staying in a small town for one night after shooting the mirror of the sky.
There must be flies, so they are not listed!

It may not look much but it’s a great friendly pub - from the lovely girl serving behind the bar, the food serving lady and the locals drinking there - we felt very welcome! The meals we had we all thought were delicious! Would highly recommend!

Got 2 pizzas garlic bread and a 1.25 coke and for $50 it was absolutely yummy. Thankyou Hopetoun you haven't disappointed us as we are on the lake for 2wks so will be back while we stay here

Enjoyed our overnight stay while doing the Silo Art Trail. Comfortable and clean rooms. Nice hearty meal at the pub. Very happy with the beef and reef I ordered and chips were delicious.

Went for an evening meal Friday night and although the pub is basic, it was clean, staff were friendly and the 2 meals (a chicken and a veg parma) were great and reasonably priced. They were large, well cooked and delicious. Salads were excellent and vegetables perfectly cooked.

Best Mexican chicken parma I have had anywhere. $25 huge plate.

The lamb shanks were delicious. Cold beer, warm atmosphere, what more could you want.

Just here for a short stay. Very spacious room. Water pressure not great. Expect some friendly spiders in the bathroom. Linen has yellow stains. Friendly service.

If you want great service and the best country town pub meals come here the lady who runs it great and all the staff are very friendly meals are enormous and you can tell they are made with love we will definitely be back here again for a holiday

Hahaha don’t go here. Waited for someone to acknowledge our existence for 10 minutes. Then once they did, they talked about us before serving us. Once serving us they were incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service. Didn’t even wait around for a table nor paid for a drink, congrats on losing $600 worth of patronage xx

I wish I could offer constructive learning, but the way we were treated was below standard. If you want to attract people to your small business, please invest in customer service training/experience.

I love a good country town pub, this was no exception. Old town charm, good prices and the food was good.

Wanting to support local business in these times we booked a table for 5. We were seated outside on a cold damp day. This would have been ok if we had been made feel more welcome and the fire had been burning. We noted several locals in the bar looked very embarrassed, one even followed us to the car to apologize. A community hotel if it is to survive in these challenging times need to do better!

Hopetoun Pub awesome pub fantastic food the beer is nice and cold the series is fantastic the staff are friendly and the locals are friendly and like a yarn.
