Bottlemart Express - Tower Hotel reviews
7Rude older staff member who greets customers with a confronting “Yes. ” when they’ve decided to spend some well earned money in this business. Needs serious customer service training. Pub prices ok but bottle shop extremely overpriced and they hide all price tags so you can’t browse and make selection. Great ploy though, as you’re forced to ask friendly young staff member who always helpfully suggests “ah we’ll just scan it for ya” and when they scan your longneck and say “that’s just $26” you either have to decline and look tight or cave and get rorted. Then you leave and discover it’s warm anyway.
Refused to sell liquor after telling me the bottle mart is open till 12 pm at 1130 I drove all the way back here for my partner whom has just finished work utterly disappointing
Bottle mart is right around the corner from my house. They’re always nice to me and they sell David’s Sunflower seeds which are impossible to find.
Expensive and disorganized. Empty most of the time and the Riversdale pub is just a block away and much nicer
Very kid friendly particularly Friday and Saturday with kids and activities and a downstairs play room. It hasn't forgotten it's a pub, lots of TV screens with the footy. Good range of beer and wine by the glass. Food is pub food with an effort and we have never had a problem. Staff are good. Prices are high but there are good value options and senior offers. Kids are free with many adult menu choices. Lots of parking.
Expensive for what is served up. I now know why the place was empty. I live locally and there are much better places to dine in the area.
We went to the Tower Hotel last weekend. It was a cheap meal with the $5 voucher on the back of a shopping docket. The chicken parmigana was ok, could have been a bit more tender. The mozarella cheese was a bit tasteless however. The menu was fairly extensive so there could be something there for everyone. It was pretty quiet when we went there on a Sunday night, but the service was quick. I wouldn't go back in a hurry but it was an alright sort of place. I am sure it would have been a lot more busy on a Friday/Saturday night.
