BOSS Store reviews
25I had a very pleasant experience here, the staff were kind and attentive. I can confidently recommend this place for their service.
Staff was very patient in helping me find the right suit and some shirts, along with tailoring it. Best Boss store
On a recent visit to the Collins St store I enquired about particular tuxedo blazer. The sales assistant told me they don't have tuxedo blazers, it's only the "high end" stores that may have it.
I was a bit taken aback by this comment as she thought $849 blazer is equivalent of purchasing one at Zara. Perhaps she thought she worked at Zara. I decided to overlook that comment and pointed out that they have them online. I came into the store to try it. She just said, no don't have it and turned to her other colleague to discuss my appearance as if I wasn't standing there.
Perhaps if she looked presentable I wouldn't be offended, but sadly that was far from the truth.
Hugo Boss management may need to get involved in hiring process as at the moment your customer service on Collins St is below any fast food joint.
Visited the store today and had a great shopping experience here. Ray assisted very well during our visit and made our day! Thumbs up!?
Appalling service from woman in blue skirt. Went in with my fiancé to buy my wedding suit. When we gestured to a grey suit to try, her reaction was disgusted and said that she had never fit a groom in anything other than black. Not the service you expect from a luxury brand especially for such an exciting occasion for my partner and I. We left immediately feeling disheartened and disappointed. Perhaps some further training in tone and bedside manner is needed. Will take our business to the chadstone store.

The upper body of the clothes feels very good as always, but the overall brand quality of Boss has declined seriously. I will probably buy less in the future.
We were not acknowledged at all, we were not approached by any staff member, only on the way out
Very poor, will never shop in this store again
Wow this turned out to be a disappointment. After a lovely warm welcome from the lady downstairs to absolutely no service in the mens department is not what was expected. It does not take three people to serve one person regardless of who or what they are. I hope the sale was worth as I’m actually trying to buy a suit.
To the lady downstairs thank you for offering me use of the lift and trying to fix my concern for poor service.
Went it looking for the new BOSS jumper I had seen online. I didn't know the name and asked I'm looking for women's jumper to the young blonde girl. The older lady came over looked me up and down and said with a smirk "we have lots of jumpers you need to me more specific". Thankfully the younger lady knew what I was talking about and said we currently don't have then online only. The look the older lady gave me like I was dirt. I was with colleagues (it was causal day- so yes we were in jeans) who did buy a significant amount of clothes. I thought I was in a scene from Pretty Woman for a moment but I didn't end up with Richard Gere. Really horrible experience.
Worst shopping experience ever had today. No one was helping me had to chase someone to get any help on sizes! Then when I found them had to wait again for them to get an iPad. Then they said go to the Bourke street store they will have the size and when I arrived the power was out. I understand that wasn’t there fault but they should have let me know about it!
A great experience with Hugo Boss all around!
Reza, the Collin St in-house tailor is classy, skilful and very easy to work with. He took on board the look I wanted for my tux and worked with me on the alterations, observing the minor details. He knew what he was doing and got the alterations done in time for our pre-wedding photoshoot. Amazing!
We love Hugo Boss products but were looking at different brand options for a wedding tux. However, it’s the fantastic customer service from Louise who sold us on going with Hugo Boss. She coordinated the purchase and alteration arrangements, and helped us secure a great deal with David Jones. She was responsive and helpful in answering my queries during a challenging time for retail, and wedding planning - Thanks Louise!
Luke, the boutique manager David Jones was patient, and knowledgeable about evening wear, which was helpful to inform our decisions.
Nathan, the boutique manager Collin St, is always professional, helpful and never pushy.
Thanks Hugo Boss team!
Can’t wait for retail to open again in Victoria!
The service provided by the whole team, but especially Amy in getting my 3-piece altered last minute and helping me complete the look in a very constrained timeframe puts this retail experience at the top of my list. The fit, styling and presentation was everything I'd aimed for.
I drove from Adelaide to visit Melbourne, and specifically Hugo Boss on the 28 December. I was served by a consultant named Roni who was really friendly and gave great advice about the menswear and was overall a great consultant. The customer service and the store was great, I’ll definitely be back.
Kudos to Alberto Hamid, Assistant Store Manager for his outstanding customer service. So patient and attentive to my needs of the products I was interested in. Highly recommend supporting this store and buy LOCAL.
Disgusting.zero customer service, in fact i am shocked that i had to help myself after standing there for 10 minutes with shoes in my hand,
the male worker was too interested in trying to get the attention of a more mature man and wife obviously assuming they had more money to spend.never again
Amazing selection for women’s clothing and the service from Chantelle and Aman was incredible! They were both exceptionally helpful in finding different outfits, right sizes, colors and even went to the other store to get the right size for me. Four outfits and a pair of heels later, I’ve shopped my fill for the season. My kind of customer service!
A pretty underwhelming store. Women’s section is small, with a limited range and extremely limited size options. Staff knowledge of range is less than ideal, and advice on materials and design options was made overly confusing for something pretty basic. They seem to have supply issues getting clothing into the store and suggest you visit the DJs store on Bourke Street. They also seem to think holding a staff meeting in the middle of the store during trading hours is acceptable.
Zero customer service; shame on you. Train your staff or hire experienced staff. Lack common courtesy, forget about helping us with size - and no it wasn’t busy.
Worst customer experience. I asked staff to email me the receipt and response was may be next time. Also i asked if they could check for fresh piece and he said he did and this is a fresh piece. I bought the same bag from chadstone store and it was still the same display piece.
