Boroondara Farmers Market reviews
25Big range of organic produce and other health foods, great location, long term reliable Stall holders
Actually a nice local market offering good range of produces, good coffee and food options for a quick bite. Not those fancy ones that just sell overpriced crafts. Recommended if you are in the neighbourhood.
A great little market. Not too many stalls, and very few fresh fruit and veg options (and the ones there are quite pricey). But it's great for other crafted delights like fancy cordials, fresh pasta, arancini, biscuits and cakes. It's now held multiple times a month, which is fine, but several stalls only attend one of them, so now have to go more often just to get what I used to get in one go.
Nice small market with easy access. It was not big. Though I was told that there are many more stall holders later in the month. My only whinge is I don't mind paying higher price for fresh vegetables but one stall wanted $12 for a small eggplant! A little too rich for my palate.
Great market, lots of vendors, but not all vendors go every time the market is open. I wish they would post which stalls will be open each Saturday so I know if my faves will be there. Also, I don't think it's fair that Phillipas bakery can have a stall here when they have a shop 10 min away on High St. I thought this is a market from small producers.
Lots of parking. Great selection of local and intrastate produce. The items purchased today, will make wonderful gifts for Christmas. The Market’s laid out, over Patterson Reserve, which gave me a bit of confidence, to move around in. Happy with my purchases. Will visit again.
Nice market - fancy stuff. Don't go for getting all your food for the week. Just if you want some treats or special stuff
Great local farmers market. Now runs twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Saturday. Highlights include the butcher truck, his beef and pork are amazing. The pie lady, family sized pies are excellent, and the team selling the falafel/lentil patties. Nice, spacious location and dog friendly. Worth a regular shop.
A great farmers market on Patterson reserve with lots of fresh local produce. Some stalls also sells coffee, donuts, BBQ, gozleme and sweet treats. Some stalls selling plants, organic produce, specialised seafood and sausages. Every first, third and fifth week of the month. $2 gold coin donation for adults for entry managed by the rotary club.
This is our favourite farmers market. It has an excellent variety of produce and the stall owners are friendly and helpful. It’s also next to a bike trail, which makes it easy and safe to get to on bike.
Nice local market. Fresh produce. Fruit, veggies, fresh and cooked meat, breads, dairy milk and cheeses. Plus lots of snacks, donuts, coffee etc.
Shame on the organisers and Rotary for holding this event in the middle of COVID lockdown. Children are not allowed to attend school and businesses are closed but this event proceeded to run regardless. This is not an essential service. COVID is still spreading in Melbourne and Victorians are being punished because of poor decisions and events with large groups of people like these. Highly irresponsible.
First time. Weather wasn't great but all the stalls had passionate growers serving. Very positive environment!
Great market, every third Saturday of the month.
You can find different fresh products, in particular the tomato sauce by Si Mangia.real Italian and amazing.
Really good atmosphere and I asked this person who sold flowers that I wanted to buy one flower but he gave the flower free to me. Thank you for the kindness. ️️ Really good products they have
Really like this Farmers Market
Loads of fresh produce with some seating to enjoy a freshly cooked egg & bacon roll & coffee
Easy parking too
Okay, but needs to be advertised to bring the customers back. We sold less than half of what we should have. Please promote the market
Some great vendors at this market. Yummy goats cheeses, gluten free brownies, delicious gourmet sausages.what more could you want.
Expensive stuff, about half of which is available in my nearest Woolworths. Maybe we came too late, but the only worthy thing that we got were kiwi berries. And you have to pay to enter!
