Boronia Thai Restaurant

The staff (thin long hair female) is very rude.serving way was rough and no greeting as if customers that came in are giving her a lot more work. No more next time.

Curry puffs inedible. Looked great, pastry is flaky, but there is a very strange flavour. Disappointing.
Massaman beef was okay. Very sweet. Beef has a strange flavour but is beautifully tender. No whole peanuts as I expected there to be. The strange edition of capsicum strips on top.
Coconut rice was fine. A very mild coconut flavour, not seasoned as far as I could tell either.
I would not return to the restaurant.

Had dinner here on a Friday at 7pm and the place was packed. About 30 minutes wait for the food. We had beef salad, prawn pad Thai and Thai milk tea. The food is tasty and definitely spicy and full of flavours! Maybe a little on the salty side for me. The milk tea was a bit fancier than usual but would have liked it less chocolaty and more authentic Thai flavour! Seating is a big plus with big comfy bench seat but the lighting at our table is a bit too dull and annoying as they got a colour changing light. Attentive staff all wearing proper masks and uniforms and following gov Covid protocols, very cozy and comfortable atmosphere! Could give 4.5 star if I can! Would recommend!

We stopped by Boronia Thai on our way back from Yarra Valley, a bit of a detour for us but definitely worth it. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The staff were amazing too. We will be back for sure.

The best Thai ever, they are so polite. Food is to die for and they even popped in a little cake for free with our order Highly recommended+

The food is good, but what I appreciate most is they double Check your order at the counter again before handing it over to you. The owner also called up to discuss our special instruction 'no garlic and onions' to ensure they got it right.

Tried takeaway from here for the first time (supporting our locals during lockdown) - staff were lovely, dishes were very tasty (the Pad Thai noodles were more authentic than some other Thai restaurants) the servings were generous - we ordered seafood dishes, could have been more seafood, but overall we were very happy with our meals. Will definitely try the restaurant when the lockdown is over!

Boronia Thai is the best thai restaurant in Melbourne. The food is always fresh and has wonderful flavours. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Boronia Thai for a great meal and great prices. If I could give more than five stars I would. Can't wait for our next meal there!

Hands down the worst Thai experience we’ve ever had. I’ve probably had 200 Tom Yums in my life both inside and outside of Thailand and whatever I got tonight was not a Tom Yum. My husband’s curry, fried rice and calamari were all inedible. Whoever is cooking here has never set foot in Thailand! To make the disappointment even worse, tonight is our wedding anniversary and we wanted to celebrate with Thai food as we got married in Thailand.

Good. The dumplings were nice.may be asd a few more. Fried Rice and Pad Thai very yummy. Most importantly nice smiling staff.
