Boronia Charcoal Chicken (Alchester Village)

Love the lamb souvlaki here actually and the chips are short and thick with the perfect crunch to potato ratio delicious with chicken salt

Had to cater lunch for a farewell for a work friend. Ordered extra when i walked in, was not a problem for them. Everyone enjoy the lunch. Food was fantastic and you know its
a good takeaway by all the tradies out the front.

Chips were very yellow, old oil? Surprised my gall bladder didn’t explode. Chicken was grey and tasted undercooked. Had to throw the lot in the bin.

Today I had a 1/4 chicken, chips and coleslaw. Disappointingly the coleslaw was very bland, the chicken and chips were just average today, the meal was ready quickly but now over priced. Really nice people that were very friendly. Wanted to charge me 10 cents for a bag. Last week when I had 1/4 chicken and chips it was nicer and fairly priced. Really disappointed this week and will go to Boronia Chicken on Flames in the future, they have better flavour chicken and much nicer coleslaw and salads with free bags as well.

Chicken was very tasty and tende, staff was also very friendly! This place gets extremely busy during peak hours so if you want something fast, go there before 6pm for dinner and after 1pm for lunch!

Walked in today, ordered 4 potatoes the only piece of pumpkin available, large potatoes scallop plus a whole chook. Food should have flavour, potatoes boiled then fried for 2 seconds, chicken bland other than skin, potatoe scallop, potatoes in soup. Lift your game. Is this the twentieth owner.

Friendly staff/owners, always greeted with a smile. We have been a regular customer for years. Chips are crisp and tasty, never over-cooked. Charcoal chicken is amazing, and good selection of salads

Best charcoal chicken in the area, I know of several great charcoal chicken places, but this one delivers beyond standard, thier chips are great, perfect crunch and you know it's been done right. The salads are really enriching in flavour and the team are very well organised.

Use to good, use to here often, but not anymore, it's expensive and when they they get wrong, all hell breaks loose. Ignore Jacob's reviews has works there as a dish boy.

Worst charcoal chicken I've ever had.the old man is just down right rude. I ordered half a chicken n chips it was more like a quarter of chicken with like a hand full of chips in the box! It was a waste of money! I won't ever go back there! And the chicken tastes weird just to top my first experience off.

AMAZING food the shop is VERY well kept and everything is well worth your buck especially the schnitzel burgers/sandwiches/wraps!

The lady that owns this shop is always smily and welcoming! The tabouli here is the best in the area, hands down. Great chicken, chips and gravy too!
