Boolarra Store catered for our event and provided some very delicious food and plenty of it. They were so easy to work with and the food was perfect for our event.

Such friendly staff. We stopped for lunch while in this country town. The food was fresh, delicious and their menu had something for everyone.

Stopped at this cafe on a road trip out of Melbourne, the owner and staff where super friendly and had a great vibe inside, the food was affordable and could taste that it was made with love, one of the nicest meals and would happily stop by if I was in the area. 5/5 stars to this amazing Cafe!

The new owners here are doing a great job. They are very friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks were beautiful. I'll definitely be returning for more iced coffees.

The rail trail cafe at the Boolarra store has a lovely view of the park and is a great place for a coffee, hot chocolate or chai when you’re visiting to walk or ride the 13km Grand Ridge Rail Trail which runs from Boolarra to Mirboo North. Lunch was yum with a nice salad to compliment the burgers (veg options available) bicycle hire is an awesome option if you can’t BYO bikes.electric busses pass by our the front which can bring you in from the main towns. Also a good option which we didn’t try yet is the picnic packs so you can have an independent picnic in the park and get everything you need from the store. Owner says solar roof, EV Electric Vehicle chargers and pizza garden on the way in near term development plans. Much improved from previous owners will definitely be back as the place is revamped, revitalised and constantly improved by the new owners - 5 stars already

A cute little shop opposite a beautiful park to sit and eat if the weather is right. I ordered the Boolarra Burger, some chips and a calamari ring. It’s all really yummy and very reasonably priced. The staff were nice and even filled up my friend Kia’s water bottles! I think the availability of vegetarian and vegan is not great but maybe they were just out of stock of some stuff and they were still able to cater for them to an extent. There is also some considered camp goodies and pantry staples/oven meals. Thanks, Boolarra Store.

Fish and chips tasted great. Tiniest serving of flake ever though, my friend legit thought it was a flatty tail

Very disappointing experience today.
I ordered my partner a boolara burger and a vegie burger with the lot for me.
When eating the vegie burger I was shocked to discover it had bacon in it!

This was not my experience in the past.

I went back and they said sorry but thats how they make them.they even checked there little ingredients list behind the grill!
It is not clear on the black board menu.

I should have known apparently!
My bad apparently.

They offered take the bacon out of the burger they made for me that I had bitten into.
They did not offer any replacement burger.
What customer service!

Wasted my $9.90. I guess the dog can eat it for dinner.

I suggest vegetarians avoid this place.
Takes me back to the 1980s but not in a good way.

Fish and chips left much to be decided but I guess it's a small town store and there's not much competition aye. I used to come here 15-20 years ago and I don't think it was much better then either. Then again you can't find excellent quality old school fish and chips any more. I guess I just don't expect to pay $6 for a tiny piece of cardboard (flake) that was about as tough as bbq steak. Chips weren't much better. Worth cutting your own potatoes these days or even just using a higher quality potatoe? Course not.

Did the Grand Ridge rail trail as this little shop was there to greet me once I arrived from Mirboo North. Thanks for the food.

After a walk or a bike ride on the rail trail this is a must. The food and coffee is amazing. The outlook from the sit down Cafe is also great.

Some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. I asked for a milkshake and they straight up said “no” without providing an explanation, and then she said “go get the chocolate milk in the fridge instead. ” They had awful communication and were just completely rude. Will not be coming back.
