Bonnie Doon Lakeside Leisure Resort

Stayed here 3 nights in an unpowered campsite. A really nicely maintained holiday park, loads of activities available - mini golf, table tennis and swimming pool to name a few. Lovely scenery and the sites are in good condition. Bathroom facilities are good and clean. Safe and family friendly. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Mansfield where you will find lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. This holiday park is clearly looked after with love and care.

Absolutely stunning scenery, the park facilities, cleanliness, and overall general tidiness of the park was at an exceptional standard. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and made my stay quite comfortable. Thanks to Rae. Will definitely be going back!

We stayed in a caravan in a powered sites. Staff are friendly, the facilities are clean and worth the xost to stay here.

Great holiday park! We went in late Feb 2023 and the amenities were limited which we were not aware of prior to arriving. We found out when we couldn't access the games room (locked doors) that they are open outside of school holidays. Nice spot on the lake and well maintained park. The playground and jumping pillow was a hit with my little one. We didnt have time for the mini golf but it looked pretty good. We would like to return again!

Staff very friendly resort kept very clean great location everything you need is here, peacefulness, quite for a getaway and sync with nature.

Very unfriendly staff.
And not very well maintained.
Very untidy.
And the owner / manager Alan could take a good lesson in people management.
I suspect he has never been involved in customer service before.
Customers make your business.

No competitor for its location. No need to get to Mt Buller and pay heaps. Stay here and drive 50 minutes to the mountain.

Great camping ground. Beautiful looking over the lake but be careful of the time of year you go there.

Great place, realy enjoyed my time at Bonnie Doon leisure resort, the lake is grate for fishing and boating, easy boat ramps to get to and from the water, grate place for the whole family with pool, playground, bbq area, pizza ovens, looking forward to going back with the family, a big thankyou to the staff at Bonnie Doon lakeside leisure resort

This park is old, run down and noisy. It seems to cater to water skiers with loud motor boats constantly zooming around the lake. The cabins are not in the best of shape but the view from the verandah is nice. Can't recommend this place at all unless you want to water ski.
It is close to some great rail trails though and that is why we went there.

Great place. Friendly people, amenities clean, all around the park it well maintained. Plenty of activities for the whole family to do. And it has a huge parking area down the back where you can leave your boats and it has plenty of security

Perfect place to get down for a short trip.has all the necessities such as bathrooms and a kitchen, both of which are looked after very well. The non-powered sites we stay on give off some pretty good views of the lake which is a bonus and are perfect sizes. Overall amazing!

As a family of five we had been looking for a holiday spot to take the boat for quite a while and we have now found that spot! Always look forward to every trip and can't wait until the next one. Resort management Toni and Tristan go above and beyond with everything you need which makes our stay even better. Thanks Lakeside Resort for all of our family holiday memories.

Well managed park, staff make every effort to ensure you have a good stay. Loved it here, will definately be back.

Went there during off season, stayed in their family cabins. Great Price, Amazing Location, Super friendly staff. If you're going to Mt Buller on a budget and don't want to stay in the small hotel rooms, I highly reccommend.

I had a group of friends stay at the park for my birthday, and we used the function room. Allan and Managers Tristan and Toni were so accommodating and very friendly and went above & beyond to make our time there fabulous. The camp facilities were clean and the function room with the open fire was perfect. We have all planned to come back next year and look forward to using the new outdoor fire pit being built.
I also highly recommend the Penthouse if you want something special, was nice sitting on the verandah looking at the view of the lake & surrounds.

Had a family fishing trip to Bonnie Doon mid April & we stayed at the Lakeside Leisure Park.
Very well maintained cabins, shower block & BBQ areas.
The addition of the pontoon at the boat ramp is a very welcome addition.
Very friendly & helpful staff.
Great spot for our group of 12.
