Boneo Discovery Park

Meh. Out dated. Lack of maintenance on the park and its facilities. And as for the sand sculptures, my god. I'd be embarrassed if I was one of the sculptures to have my work featured there.
The sculptures in Frankston were awesome.

Stopped in on a whim as we were driving past, even for adults still plenty to do as a couple or group. Amazing staff who gave us a great rub down of the park, mini golf was very fun and enjoyable, the sand sculptures were amazing to look upon and the activities broke up the trip very well. If in the area, worth the stop.

Golf for kids was a highlight, big mini golf course. Unfortunately a few things were not in operation, but overall we loved it. Best to ring first and ask what you can do. The staff were really lovely.

Don’t waste your money. To make this an enjoyable experience, they would need a full maintenance overhaul. We came on a sunny Sunday, it could’ve been a great morning for our family. None of the jumping castles were inflated / none of small rides were operating/ the small amount of reptile enclosures were filthy / staff were friendly but clearly didn’t want to come out to operate the tree climbing or rock wall - they kept pushing it back by hours leaving us no option but to leave with disappointed children. The worst looking nachos I’ve ever seen in the cafe and no hot chips.

Could be a 3/5 in summer with TLC and everything up and running. Possibly should close or run at a discounted rate over winter, so people lower expectations.

Very disappointing place, not much to do and what was there was pretty rundown. Whole place was like a swamp which made it worse and the only things that looked any good were more money on top of the entry fee. Would not return or recommend it even when dry there was very little to appeal to kids or adults.

Been waiting to get to this place for a while so took a day off work, turned up at a little after 10am with the family to play mini-golf but it was closed with gates firmly locked. Waited until 10.30am but still nobody there. I suggest anybody coming from a far to check before wasting their time. Disappointing when you try and support local businesses.

Family friendly park filled a selection of kids' activities, a board walk through the wetlands, mini golf, and a maze. If you are in the area and are looking for a relaxing afternoon this is good place to while away a few hours.

Kids had a good time but the park needs some TLC everywhere, particularly for the money you spend.

Yes, its bit run down place. But we loved it & spent 4 hrs with value-for-money lunch. Moreover, we missed going in weekend only when adventure trip for 5+ kids is there. Both adults & kids played together which in quite rare. If they add a theme in maze to collect points at multiple locations so all parts of maze reached before reaching exit, maze will also become lot more interesting & show case full maze. Dont miss mirror room though description on all 4 mirrors would help. Gaint games of snake/ladder, connect4, genja & so also noglostic

Very run down. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Way overpriced. Paying money to virtually walk around aimlessly seeing dead trees and mud.

Sadly a little rundown, but great potential with a bit more business for general maintanence, facilities clean.staff absolutely wonderful. Alot of fun.was had here. Loved the education provided about the wetlands

Came here for a date with my partner. Lots to do even for us 20somethings we had a great time! From mini golf - to big chess. There’s lots to see & interact with and lots of photo ops. Would be fun with a group of friends! Olivia is very lovely as well!

Really expensive to get in. $84 for 2 adults and a child, to try to see the sand sculptures. Needed to pay for entry to whole park, not just sand sculptures. Went downhill from there. In desperate need of repair. Maze was okay, but when found tower in the centre the first step was wobbly - wood rotting. Boardwalk had sections that looked unsafe. Games section was underwhelming. Train, carousel etc were all extra $$. Definitely overpriced and really rundown.

Loved the mini golf course, the mazes are fun and not too challenging. Dinosaur sand sculptures where nice if you are into sand sculpture or Dinosaurs.

Pretty average to say the least.

Everything seemed to be closed off and under maintenance. The great activities that were advertised on their website failed to deliver. The little carnival like games were missing equipment, the trampoline wasn't in use, the maze was underwhelming, and everything seemed to be so over priced.

I've never experienced such a boring mini golf course in my life. The holes weren't challenging - there were like three holes for every "hole", I think they were meant to be varying in difficulty but that wasn't made very clear. There were also no obstacles to make the holes fun and exciting, I can't imagine a child enjoying this, if there's nothing fun and exciting on the course. It almost reminded me of an adult full field course.

The scenery and nature strips were okay, but other than that it wasn't anything special.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Run down, dilapidated and unmaintained, none of the amusements were open even though it was school holidays. Sand sculptures were nowhere to be seen. No bird life, no frogs in the frog tanks. Very disappointing

Wonderful day out with mini golf, great food, ice cream, lovely park lands and pond and the staff were absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!

Went with our family and everyone had such a great time. There are so many different activities to do, and the staff were extremely helpful and really nice. We were there until closing time and had a hard time getting our kids to leave the park. Will definitely go back.

NOT recommended. All the equipments were old and some not in working order. Minimal things to do/see. Have to pay extra for mini train ride and trampoline. We spent about 30 mins in there but i think our local park is more enjoyable. Mini golf was average. Not worth the money.
