Bonds Outlet Spencer Street reviews
7Terrible service. Barely helped me even though they scanned the wrong price and made me to feel stupid about it.
Good variety of stock, however if bigger size, 20+, was very limited.
Looks like back to BigW for more.
Would think clearance stores would have more than normal stores
Was good staff good, good price big range. Hope future is good for the outlets
A pretty standard outlet store for Bonds brand underwear, socks and stuff. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area and like Bonds
T shirt Bras advertised at, $10 with a sign clearly marked $10 with two red stickers marked one over the other first $29 and then $10 over the top. Naturally one is led to believe its $10, but when scanned it was $69. Looking around the shop I see another two colours but exactly the same bra marked $39. So when I asked the question, the manager Erin B, stated that someone must have marked it by putting another sticker over it. She would not honour the $10 price, she took the sticker off and said you can't have it for $10 as the manager I reserve the right to take the stock off the floor. I was shocked because this is clearly misleading the customer. In this day and age with technology and barcodes, there's no need to have bright 80's stickers on products that are discounted. The sign above or behind the product is enough to to tell the consumer how much a particular product is, whether it's a percentage like 40% off or $80 reduced to $40 is irrelevant as the barcodes are ultimately programmed to scan at the correct price. This was the customer would never be misled nor would it allow the customer to swap price tags around to benefit. This is why I believe they implemented the barcodes system.
I planned on buying 3 bras, 2 singlets, children's socks and underwear and I was asked to leave because I was asking for Erin the manager to honour the $10 price as clearly advertised on the product itself and the sign behind it.
It's very disappointing that Erin has no customer service skills, as I LOVE Bonds and now I have to feel like a criminal and a thief because I am only asking what is advertised.
