No indoor seating at 10pm because it’s about to close? Doesn't it close at 12? If you don’t want to do business, just leave it! I don’t need to see your waiter’s stinky face

The food is very standard, we ordered chicken wings, corn cheese (very milky and didnt really like it, its like a DIY with poor taste) Seafood pancake (not tasty, very plain like they just made with flour amd no seasoning) chips (overcooked and brown). We were not satisfied at all and we are not coming back!

So I went there at 3: 00 to order lunch special, the attendant was busy with the phone, so I stood there patiently and did not disturb her and did not attend me for 5 minutes, and after that i asked her if I could order lunch special, she said it’s already past 3, so I can not, it was just 3: 05 and also I was there on time, she was the one busy on the call and did not attend me, horrible service and attitude.

Banchan (sides -kimchi, radish) 2/5 - tasted like it was left out in room temperature overnight… radish was not chilled, soft, sour and not crispy

Fried Chicken 3/5 - we got the soy garlic and sweet chilli; chicken was super tender but flavour was unfortunately lacking

Beef Bulgogi 3.5/5 - Sweetness of the bulgogi was just right. Beef was slightly overcooked. Potato salad side was the saving grace.

Recently dine here tonight with my family and small children. We were a group of 9 and we’re given tables outside, which was fine.

I’m only rating their food 3 stars but the staff are absolutely are in need of training, their service was terrible!

They could clearly see I had a toddler but had not offered a highchair, had to ask for one. We were not offered water for the table, had to ask for that too. The afternoon got chilly due to high winds, I asked if they would be able to put the ceiling heater on her reply was “it’s too hard to turn it on” i quickly wanted to ask another question but she was quick to get back inside and not even offer other alternatives, like pulling down the plastic shade for us.

My family and I spent a good $200 and you would think the staff would try and make your experience to dine at their restaurant more comfortable, sadly it wasn’t.

If a customer chose to dine at your restaurant it’s your duty to make sure they are getting taken care of, disappointed with the level of service.

It's a great Korean restaurant. The spicy soup is very authentic, and the fried chicken is also very delicious.

Super busy especially during weekend! We particular enjoy the boneless soy garlic chicken. Teobokki was spicy, it has the noodle in it that makes it special and yum. Seafood pancake is very nice too.

Food was amazing, didn’t know that you couldn’t have outside food inside though, but it was okay the workers were really nice would definitely recommend the sweet potato glass noodles, and the ttokbokki.

Food is great. Prices are reasonable. Vibe could have been better (little bit noisy due to music). If you are looking Korean food, this is the place to be. We (a group of 4) had half half chicken (spicy and soy garlic), sweet potato glass noodles (seafood), corn cheese, and kimchi chicken quesadilla. Make a reservation if you are going to dine-in. Ample parking spaces are available at the back of the restaurant. Will visit again for sure. Highly recommended.

Chicken amazing - honestly the best Korean Friend Chicken I've ever had in Melbourne. Japchae, absolutely amazing. Sausage platter, on the day we visited, horrific fail. Well overcooked and dry. Someone overcooked the sausages by a few minutes and ended up serving dry, hard meat. Would've been perfect otherwise.

Average experience at bon chicken. Food was tasty enough but the on line ordering system is very buggy. It caused us to order double of a dish, then we had to pay for it. The atmosphere is dark and cramped. I don't think I'll be back.

Bon Chicken & Beer is Korean restaurant known for their fried chicken and other dishes. The pricing of the food are reasonable for the portion size. The best deal is their lunch special (12.9 Aud). The deal beats the other restaurants around the area with portion size and price. The chicken wings and boneless is the restaurant specialty. It is always crispy and well cooked. I wish they would provide more sauce with the chicken than giving just 1 small tub especially if you are sharing with someone. The restaurant ambiences is quite nice definitely catering to the younger crowd. During weekends nights can get quite pack. Weekdays and weekend afternoons tend to be less crowd. I think their bathrooms can be lot more cleaner. The staff are quite friendly and well versed with the menu. They may get overwhelmed went there's huge crowds.
The downside is the lack of packing in this area.
Overall, Bon Chicken & Beer is decent restaurant with good quality fried chicken and other Korean foods for reasonably priced.

Customer service can be better. Waitress was a bit rude when she was taking order and bringing out our food. Although I understand restaurant work is not easy and high pressure.

The food was just ‘okay’. Ordered soy garlic chicken and we got it with not enough soy garlic sauce, almost like the original chicken.

Toilets were dirty.

Pricing was affordable.

I and my bf had chicken tangsuyouk, deep fried chicken giblets and spicy seafood soup. If you wanna try korean food this is the place you should try. As a typical Korean, I always miss Korean food. So this store play an important role in my Australian life. I forgot to take photos of the other food bc food was so delicious. No wonder the store is always busy. And the staff was so friendly! Have a try people!

Good fried chicken. Great flavours. The side salads and pickled vegetable compliment the whole meal.
Been here a few times for takeout and haven't had a bad meal yet.
I recommend the spicy chicken, good flavour and not too spicy in my opinion.

Great KFC, I preferred the Soy garlic and my partner the Sweet Chilli.

My partner liked the fried spam (not a fan of spam myself) and I loved the cheesecorn - just wished there was more cheese.

Good range of beers as along with Soju.

Would reccomend for a easy casual meal.

Fantastic wings paired perfectly with beer. The spicy sauce and the sweet chili are both great. Make sure to get the tteokbokki with cheese.
