Bombora Custom - Recycled Wood Furniture

I’ve used Bombora twice now for a custom made desk. Their quality and attention to detail is amazing, and the finished product is always beautiful and will last a lifetime. Their customer service is also top notch, with constant updates on the progress of the build and delivery dates. Consider me a lifetime customer!

We ordered 3 vanities and were so excited as they look amazing. However, when we picked them up, we noticed that the runners and sides of the drawers were mounted so high that it made the drawer depth next to useless. We were told that we could have asked to have them lowered when we ordered them, but we were not told this at the time. To be honest, I don't understand why they don't lower them in all cases. We have only had them installed for less than a month and they are already splitting on the top. Disappointed as we had bought them for our dream home

Firstly, I hope this doesn't sound too harsh as I think they're really trying to do good work, and probably most of it is, but.

I bought an Addis double vanity which took 18 weeks from deposit to delivery. It was built twice, as first time the quality was just not good enough. They tried to pass the imperfections off as normal for a natural product, but as a carpenter with a furniture background, I knew it was due to skill error. To their credit they built it again but my project was completed way behind schedule.

The vanity does look great, but the drawer runners are super cheap and barely do their job. You can only open one drawer at a time, as the drawer fronts hit each other and will get damaged quite quickly. That's after I had most of them replaced because they weren't working at all. Our kitchen is 5 years old and those Blum drawers run perfectly.

Lastly the timber top started cracking and getting raised grain after less than a month.

Their work looks nice, but there are other companies doing exactly the same thing. Do your research.

Absolutely LOVE our new sideboard! Waited a long time before buying a quality piece of furniture for our reasonably new home. So glad we decided to look online for custom made furniture and found Bombora! Looks fantastic and is a piece of art to be admired by all. Plenty of space for all our bits and pieces! It is built really well and is a perfect dimension for our home thanks to Luke's making to our measurements! The whole process of selecting and purchasing interstate was easy thanks to Alison! Highly recommend Bombora to anyone that wants quality!

I have nothing but praise for Bombora Custom Furniture.
Firstly, Luke’s workmanship and pride in his product is unsurpassed. He and his team were friendly and obviously dedicated to providing a special service.
More importantly though, when we had a misunderstanding about the design, Luke was so understanding. It involved a fair bit of extra work (he had to dismantle the whole feature bedhead and rebuild it). We both realised how the miscommunication had occurred (nobody’s fault- we both played a part.just different understandings of a simple phrase “highlight piece”) and Luke was as devastated as we were that what he had started wasn’t what we had in mind. Quite often when these things happen you feel the blame shifted to yourself as the customer. Not so with Bombora and what a relief to feel understood regarding our part in the mixup. We worked out the minimal extra cost and the result is the most beautiful piece of furniture for our son’s 21st. This is a gift that keeps on giving. You can’t help thinking “that’s awesome” every time you look at the double bed and matching bedside units.
