Bombay Chopati reviews
30 There are about six food trucks where you can find Indian, Paki and Nepalese food.
Mostly food is average or just eatable. Never order Tandoori chicken from here. Never seen Tandoori chicken so bad in my life.
When this place started a couple of years ago, the owners were there and would talk to you, talk about their plans and make recommendations. As it grew, things became more expensive and although the food is nice it just is a bit unaffordable for a food truck that’s supposed to be comfort food at comfort prices. They’ve also taken items off the menu constantly and increased prices of what’s left. I find myself coming here less frequently these days. But still a nice place for authentic Indian street food.
Hi
Management
Today I visit at Bombay chopati juice, ice cream side. I just want to complain you about your today staff. Her name is (SIMRAN). She has zero costumer service skills. Her behaviour was really disrespectful and ridiculous with costumers. We can wait for our food but we have rights to ask them how much longer. When I ask and she replied me with a very rude behaviour and we saw her serving other people that she knows. When I ask why you serving people who came after me and she again started arguing. Then I saw (KOMAL) who works at your branch. I think KOMAL didn’t have her shift today but she made my order after this incident.
If you are making a home delivery make sure you write them ur choice of amount of spice u want in the stuff. We ordered pav bhaji and the amount of red chilli it had by default could give anyone stomach ulcers. We wasted our money cuz we couldn’t even eat one bite. It was wayyyy toooo much even a spice tolerant couldn’t tolerate the red chillies and masalas in it.
Food is okay if you like spicy and fried foods then good, though they have many options. But I prefer to have mild spice foods when eating here
This place is AMAZING but it would really really benefit from some outdoor music. I am confident that it would completely change the atmosphere. It's just so quiet without it. Also the food trucks all need to pitch in and buy some chairs. So many people just leave because they can't sit down.
I've tried almost everything from the Bombay Chapati menu and it's damned near impossible to fault. The food is fantastic. Particularly love the Dahi Puri.
Chaa is ridiculously expensive at $5 a cup so give that a miss
Was in the mood for some Kulfi Faluda as the missus just moved here. This place didn't disappoint. Will be back for some more Indian food.
Whole area stinks like curry, food was absolute garbage.even a dog could eat better.please stop this service as many people might not like it.thank you
The quality and taste of falooda was amazing last year. However this year couple of weeks ago I ordered Royal falooda via uber eats that was not filled up properly and taste was not good at all as it was used to be. Anyways yesterday I had a mango falooda which resulted in me having upset stomach and diarrhoea. As far as i know the vermicelli or something like that was quite hard and taste was just okay.
I think you need to be more attentive to the freshness of the drinks and the quality of the ingredients being used.
Came to have food from long distance
And they closed at 10pm
Please update time.
Loved the food. Best customer service. Far from my place but would love to go again for sure. I would recommend to be there around 8pm to enjoy full menu
Team is really trying their best to make customer’s experience best and prepare yum food.
Best indian restaurant in melbourne.amazing service, lots of available staff, ambience is very nice and the food was very luscious.been here multiple times and they never fail to disappoint.highly recommended
Very good Indian food and best falooda. You feel like you are in India and have street food.
Must visit and enjoy real taste of Indian food.
Beautiful fresh food, Very delicious. I drove 80 Kms to eat here. Service was good and hygienic.
Best ever Indian street food I had here in Melbourne. I’m addicted to come every weekend to have such delicious, spicy street food. Was feeling like having food in my home country
I tried this "DAHI PURI" and "Falooda". It's more than amazing. Go give it a try
Alright, experience. It had a long wait time. We ordered pav bhaji, lemon soda, and dahi puri. Pav bhaji was good but spicy. Lemon soda and dahi puri were not cold enough. We did even tasted garlic in dahi puri that was a turn-off. They have a lot of options to choose from, which is a must.
They also need good ventilation for their inside sitting.
Last time I ordered Manchurian with gravy, but received dry Manchurian. Today, I ordered Manchurian with gravy but I got Manchurian bartha. Such a wastage of money. Never ever recommend this food van.
Very bad service I order 2 plate pani purri and they didn’t give me pani and after that I have called them so many time they didn’t even pick up my call I have two time experience with them both time very bad very very bad
Had a mix experience.the Manchurian rice and dosa from the food cart outside were soo good although smoothies was a bit let down.the staff working of the drinks and ice-cream counter were not as responsive. If it was not for that bit to the food stalls! Also brush your nostalgia with the casata icecream.its epic
