Great service/knowledge and decent prices. Everyone complaining about the $10 minimum, how would you expect to keep a business running on random 70¢ individual bolt sales?

Went into bolts and fasteners earlier today and amazed by the service. I was served by Ryan and he took the time to explain the different types of bolts and nuts and went through my best options for my outside project. He also gave me a really great deal. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing help!

$10 min charge even for one bolt and still couldnt provide what I needed after close to 10 minutes. Went to abbot supply and was sorted in 3 minutes for under $2

I went in yesterday afternoon with my daughter, Ethan served us (I had to find out his name) his knowledge and effort to make it work for us was awesome. My 13yr old daughter came out and said, Wow, he really knew what he was talking about!

I've met more honest thieves. If they don't have what you need, they will tell you they do and then send you home with the wrong thing. Absolute grubs

I required a two dollar bolt and was told if I wanted to pay by cash or card I would have to spend a minimum of $10 what a joke I will never use this business again.

Specifically asked for a minimum of class 10.9 bolts. After getting home, 8.8 parts in the bag. Annoying especially with faffing around trying to make up the minimum $10 spend (what bs). Abbott's Supplies is the way to go, for now.

Terrible. Waited about 10 min to be served. Wanted just one nut, then as i'm about to pay they tell me it's a $10 min charge even for paying cash. Will find an alternative next time.

Always helpful, new location is easy to grab a parking spot. Will try to find some obscure fiddly thing for you and offer a suggestion to find a solution. And will track stuff down if they dont have in stock, and follow up with phone calls to let you know if there has been a delay in getting shipments. Great, highly recommended

Agree with others.
Used to be helpful.now.no interest in helping.i was OK with spending $10.no matter what.
Took other reviewers advice and went to abbots. Got what I needed for $2.go elsewhere to help them have a look at themselves.

Came in looking for 2 bolts. $10 minimum? That’s fine, I grabbed a couple more grinding discs for later on, they don’t go off in storage. Staff seem pretty busy and rushed at first glance but polite enough and they led me to the back to ensure I was happy with getting exactly what I needed. The kids are wrapped I got the trampoline repaired. Regards.

Came in with a pile of rusty bolts from a bullbar and they were able to supply a replacement for every single one in stainless. The guy behind the counter couldn’t have been more helpful even though I wasn’t spending a lot. Made my day!

Grouse joint and very competitive pricing.
Yes there is a $10 minimum, pretty much all bolt shops have this.

Always got what I need plus more. As a plumber it’s my stock up shop for all the handy things I need, silicone, specific screws, bolts, grinding discs, drill bits, lubricants, hose clamps, washers, new specific tools.it’s endless & still cheaper then Bunnings!

The old bolts and fasteners in town was far better than this new shop. Getting slapped with a $10 minimum is just stupid. If I want just a few nuts and bolts it always equals to less than 10 bucks, then I have to find something else to add to the price. What a stupid idea. If you are in town I suggest going to Abbotts Supply instead.

I have used BNF for over 20 years. Been to the new place twice but will not be back. Customer service seems to be on the decline. And what is with this surcharge? I required one bolt at just under $2 but was told I had to buy products to the value of $10 even for a cash sale!

As a small business I can rely on these guys to always have what I want in stock. Highly recommended!

Trevor. I don't think that would be a surcharge. Under the CCA Act 2016, a surcharge can not exceed 1% of the value of the transaction. This is an ACCC regulation so with a surcharge your bolt would not come near $3 let alone $10.50 cents would more than cover the receipt processing.
Not sure why they would be doing this.
