I have been coming here for 10 years. Paul has been keeping me coming back all this time. I have always had deep tissue massage and Paul also does cupping for me.

During my time in Richmond I’ve also had chiropractic and acupuncture here.

Paul has also recommended me products that have helped me with sleep, muscle soreness and immune support.

What I love is how welcoming Paul and the team are. I think the first 15 minutes we spend catching up whilst Paul also gets an update on what’s brought me in and the focus areas. But for me it’s like reconnecting with a friend.

Now I may have been getting deep tissue massages for a long time. But whilst the pressure is great Paul navigate and applies pressure where needed. I usually fall asleep my the time he gets to my legs. Which goes to his technique but also just how comfortable the whole experience is for me.

Places come and go but for me in Richmond my body couldn’t be in better hands.

I had Myotherapy on the weekend to sort out a locked neck and throbbing headache. It was the best experience I’ve had in Melbourne. The cupping, the dry needling followed by deep tissue and adjustments fixed my neck instantly and by the next day I was back to normal. I would highly recommend visiting them.

I had a pregnancy massage with Teresa (Tess) Cox in April 2019. Tess is an incredibly skilled and experienced remedial therapist. She used a firm technique to successfully aleviate pain in my back. I feel so much better today. Tess really knows what she's doing. I'm 34 weeks now and hope to get back to see her in the next few weeks. In 13 years I’ve never found a better massage therapist than Body Active Therapies. In that time I have moved countries and states a number of times and have not once found a wellness centre anywhere near as good… I always end up coming back to them. 13 years is a long time and different staff have come and gone… what doesn’t change is the standard of treatment that Paul insists on from his therapists. I highly recommend them.

I went to Fiona here for a sore jaw, I was visibly crying from the pain of her massages. She didn’t explain what she was going to do, how she would do it or what it would achieve. I’ve left with so many more issues including bruised temples and a scratched immensely sore throat from her treatments. Everything was so hard and rough. She also didn’t tell me whether I needed another appointment or follow up. Wouldn’t recommend. I don’t doubt she knew what she was doing however it has left me with more issues than when I started.
