Professional and friendly staff. We've been going here for a couple of years now, we highly recommend Karen for your massage treatment. Book beforehand as they are normally fully booked so don't have availability for walk ins.

Karen is knowledgeable and will make sure you get a proper full body massage. We always feel rejuvenated and relax after our treatment. The place is also clean with available street parking close by. If you have private health insurance, Body Retreat is eligible for you to claim back a portion of the cost depending on your extras cover.

Tip is an amazing therapist, combining Thai and Western massage styles. Very thorough and with a great sense of how much pressure is optimal for maximum results.

I’ve been seeing Karen for remedial massage for years now! Best massage in Melbourne hands down. I’ve tried many other masseuses but no one comes close. I’ve got consistent back pain and always walk away pain free and relaxed! Will be a regular client for many years to come!

I had bruises after my massage. It was obvious the masseuse was not trained. I believe her name was Karen. There was no routine, just random squeezing and at some points pressing so hard it was excruciating. I don't normally bruise easily but I had bruises the next day. The shop isn't 100% clean either.
I would not recommend even if you had a discount eg groupon.

Have used Karen for massage for last 6 years and she is terrific. I live in Richmond where she originally operated, tried others when she left the area but now travel to Carlton every 2 weeks as she is the best of any have tried. Highly recommended for relaxation and deep tissue treatment

I have been going to Karen for over a year now for the best massages I’ve ever gotten and also a clean waxing job. She is kind and friendly, listens to your needs and does exactly as asked. I have enjoyed discussing with her healing methods, religion and philosophy. She is very knowledgeable in her field and makes you feel right at home.

I had a hot stone massage here and it was fantastic. Pressure was perfect, stones were hot but not scalding. Loved every minute of it!

This was just a very average experience. I've had many massages, including remedial, and this one was okay in parts only. I have had Thai masseuses kneeling on me for added pressure, but the pressure exerted on my thighs was on the verge or excruciating. Remedial skills were at a novice level; quickly and strongly flicking over the knots in my back, instead of slowly pressing through them.
The masseuse was friendly and accommodating, and it was inexpensive through Groupon, but I won't be back.

Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking nearby. The shop is inviting and clean. The massage and facial were very professional and relaxing, while prices are very fair and reasonable.

My wife & i had a massage today and the whole experience was fantastic. Very friendly welcome, polite staff, relaxing and calm environment. Massages were great, and the therapists seemed very educated on the human anatomy in the way they did specific movements etc. Overall we had an absolutely fantastic experience here and will definitely be back. There are usually two ladies working. Both are extremely friendly, polite and pleasant. The massage and facial are the best I've had - the pressure (which the lady made sure was to my liking) and techniques were perfect. I walked out of the place completely elevated and ready for a nap. Highly recommend.

Karen is so experienced with my lower back problem. She fixed me in one session. Absolutely loved it!
