Bodrum Essendon reviews
40Everything was amazing! Absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.
Had the best night and dinner at Bodrum last night. Love that the menu is predominately gluten free, and tastes amazing. The service was and dining experiences is unmatched. Would highly recommend.
My husband and I dined at Bodrum last night for the first time and I must say will definitely be back. We were greeted by the owner with a very warm and genuine welcoming. The food, service, staff and atmosphere were all 100/: spot on. Thank you to all for making our date night super special. We took the advice from the couple that were sitting next
to us and ordered the banquet, and everything was amazing.
It's all 5 stars. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and the loveliest host! Also, best saginaki I've tried in Australia
Always good food with friendly staff. Better on warm nights when the front windows can be opened
From the friendly greetings when we arrived to a wide range of drinks and an excellent menu. An extremely pleasant evening’s dining
Beautiful food and even better service. Food is generous and delicious. Love the mixed lamb and chicken skewers. The complementary Turkish tea at the end of the meal was a great way to end a great night out. Thank you!
My husband and I went for dinner last night and our experience was great. Bodrum is definitely one of the best restaurants in Essendon. We loved everything
I was Recommend to try this restaurant and so glad I did. The food was amazing and the service was as good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Recently visited here as a family with two kids, the service was excellent! One of the dishes we ordered i believe was Rockling and it was as fresh as it gets and cooked to perfection! A must try is also the saganaki.
My friends and I had a great experience here. The Seafood Platter was well worth it and of high quality.
Aydin and the staff made the dinner feel as if we were at home.
Will be coming back again soon!

We ate dinner here recently. This family business is very welcoming and friendly. The saganaki was the best dish here. We had the banquet and we really enjoyed the entrees. We thought the fish dishes and meat dishes were def not as strong as the entrees. We really enjoyed our night though. Lena was great as was Able. Service was excellent. Glad we went
Undoubtedly a very high quality restaurant with premium food and personalised service. We had chicken and lamb skewers with capsicum dip. Top notch. Looking forward to be back.
Excellent customer service. Went with my team and they took care of us from the beginning to end. Eywallah bay for the aeroplane knafeh ️
Being a genuine country bloke found the food to be outstandingly tasty and the service to be amazing.
We had the seafood platter lamb and chicken dishes after a selection of entrees, the desserts were amazing, we will be back to try the best sticky date pudding In Melbourne.
Any country people looking to fill the nose bag can recommend to the highest degree
A fantastic experience with amazingly friendly expert staff. We did the banquet and the food was top quality and delicious. My interstate friends were blown away and I will definitely return!
Last evening, my husband and I went to this Turkish restaurant, we ordered lamb and chicken grilled, we were offered a bottle of water as normally you get it at any restaurant but we didn’t know they will charge us $5, the food was very ordinary compared to the price, my chicken was salty and I couldn’t finish it but it was ok for my husband, in fact we expected high quality food in there as the restaurant looked very traditional but what a shame! Although the customer service was good and welcoming but the price wasn’t reasonable compared to the quality and quantity, hope they can improve their service
The food was so ordinary I ordered the lamb but the quality wasn’t so good, compare to the price
I was given a buttle of water when arrived but didn’t know I have to pay for that it was was so weird because every restaurant offers you a bottle of water for free, but the customer service was acceptable.
My wife and I dined at Bodrum last Saturday night for diner.
I was referred here by a work colleague and to be totally honest, I am glad I came.
I have been eating Turkish food all my life and I have to say, that they taste of the food here was exactly how my parents use to cook. Eating the dips, I could easily believed that it was my father that made them. The taste was identical and delicious. Just like dad use to make.
For Entrée, we had the mixed dips and the Midye Dolma (mussels stuffed with rice). Unbelievable taste not only on the dips as explained above, but the mussels were to die for.
For main course, we had the seafood platter for 2. All was cooked to perfection and so good.
Desserts, we had the Baklava and the Kunefe – Just the right amount of sweetness. Unlike some places where the Baklava is saturated in sugar syrup.
The host, which I assume is the owner was fantastic. Friendly and welcoming and spoke to everyone by name. It is rare to see this quality in a restaurant were even when you leave, they say goodbye to you by name.
To be honest, I never thought I would taste my parents’ home cooked meals every again, but after eating at Bodrum, I now know that I can come here anytime to taste a little bit of home.
Thank you Bodrum for making our dining experience so great.
Would I come back again. Try to stop me.
Great customer service, we were greeted warmly and food were quick to serve. Food and drinks were really good. We got the banquet menu which was a bit pricey for the portions that we received. The saganaki cut was a bit weird as we got like 1 and a half triangle for two? But overall, we enjoyed our first time trying a Mediterranean restaurant.
