Boardriders Torquay reviews
10So disappointing the guys who work here (1pm on Feb 12) give no assistance, are scornful about Melbournians, tell people off for touching boards rather than help (we surf and know how to handle boards without damaging them), and speak down to females. We would have spent $1k+ on a new board and some clothes but walked out because of the awful disdainfulness of staff - so sad to report this for a brand we both once loved.
These guys stooged me on a surfboard.waited 12 months for nothing. At which point they lost my deposit forms. Consequently lost my $100 dollar deposit. This was about 5 years ago.not sure if ownership has changed since then.
Used to pop in every so often but recently dealt with a rude staff member (tone and attitude) and will not ever come back.
I don't like to normally leave bad reviews but here it is.
Worst online shop ever, my issue is they are failing to communicate, I've been on chat 3 times waiting. Only managed once for someone to respond and they did not update delivery that should have been dispatched by now according to their website. When I asked her to cancel order she said yet she would. This has NOT been done. I've called on telephone twice once on hold for 45 minutes and 30 minutes the other time, I've also emailed twice and have had no response, as you could imagine I'm very upset by this lack of basic communication and no longer wish to deal with this company, I've asked numerous times to cancel and they have not honored this, clearly this is in breach of the Fai Trading Act.
Ok.so i ve been refused service for not wearing a mask despite advising about having an exemption. I was also asked to show the ID.since when do shop assistants have authority to check your papers?
Congrats to the team at boardriders for politely asking for id and ensuring I was complying with COVID rules by not being from Melbourne. Great social responsibility and ensuring safety of your workers and other customers.
Had the best grom parmi and chunks only 10 bucks the best I’ve ever had 11/10 Good job chef. Great atmosphere and a relaxing vibe
Spoke to Tom the surfboard guy, got me sorted with the best axe, while being professional and recieving impeccable customer service. Thanks James the barber for giving me the dopest haircut with a smile. Fantastic experience.
Great range of products and very friendly staff. The bar is awesome and so is the upstairs Barber
The only place I buy surf wear now it has a range for us oldies, over 50's that's called the waterman's series. I've been buying quakes goods since the company started.
