BlueStone Thai reviews
42The Pad Thai did not look anything like the photo on their website and it did not taste good, there was so much noodle with just 4 prawns. The prawn spring roll on the other hand was just delicious.
I was coming from a Bunnings run with a friend after our work, so we got a bit hungry. I have been meaning to try this place, so I suggested this to her. Without any expectations, we walked in to this restaurant and ordered Pad Thai and Pandang Curry & rice. And to my surprise, they served the Pad Thai after a few minutes and were followed by our entrée. I was immediately impressed by the service along with the atmosphere, since there was no loud music and good lighting - it was a perfect place to catch-up over dinner. Plus, the food was great (love the Pad Thai!) and the price was pretty reasonable. I would definitely come back again!
Ordered from ubereats for mixed seafood pad thai and green curry with chicken. Pretty quick, so the food came to me still hot - the way I like it Maybe also because I ordered at non- peak hours, around 3pm
Pad thai was alright.the mixed seafood contains of 2 prawns, a few squid, fried fish.of of course also got a few tofu cubes, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts.
Green curry was pretty creamy, a bit on the sweet side - if you like it. I’m more on the savoury type for my meals so it’s not so much to my liking.
Packaging could be better on the carrier bag (sturdier), as it came to me in a thin paper bag with no handle - which the menus seems pretty heavy for that paper bag to handle - to lessen the risk of food damage due to poor packaging. Lucky mine was alright, but definitely has to carried carefully.
Ordered blue stone for a celebration dinner and it was a complete disappointment. The food had no flavour, no spice or tang at all. We ordered the crispy chicken and it was like eating raw batter. We had to reorder from another restaurant.
One staff member trying to keep up with menu log orders, entrees were ok, mains hers and mine 40 minutes apart, everyone who left, tables were not cleaned away, food tasted very poor, I travel to Thailand twice a year and this food tasted like it was made by an Aussie who has no idea of Thai flavours! Came here 10 years ago and food was sensational, this visit totally changed my mind! Will not return!
Went and ordered some food and asked how long it would take and it was done before the time I was told.
First time having dinner at Blue Stone Thai. Was the best Thai Food I’ve ever had! The food was absolutely delicious. Staff was so friendly n bubbly. Will definitely come back n let others know how great this establishment is!?
Went for dinner tonight and It was amazing! Couldn't of asked for better food or service definitely a place I plan to go back to, highly recommend to check this place out
This place is good. Usually. Small issues the last time we got take away. Like watery sauces and a perceived cut in the serving size of proteins in meals has ruined it. I'd rather pay more for the usual standard in this environment than receive what we got.
We enjoyed takeaway for dinner last night. Was fresh, flavorful and very tasty, with good sized portions. Will definitely order again.
Very poor food, good service.
Curry puff and spring rolls all tastless. Duck salad no Thai flavour. Thai green curry OK.
Disappointing. We got takeaway but for the size and price of this food it's not that good.
The Pad Thai was too spicey my young son couldn't eat it, I've never experienced pad Thai to have chilli flakes but this one does. It was also a tad burnt (the noodles) leaving a burnt taste to the dish. The chicken was under cooked, very chewy and the satay sauce not very tasteful.
The rotti was very hard too given the impression it wasn't fresh I don't know how much of the food was because it didn't arrive hot. I don't think my family will be ordering again unfortunately. 3/5 for me because of our experience.
The massaman curry with coconut rice.organsmic.so good.the best i have ever eaten.if i got to choose my last meal on this earth, it would be this.if i could eat anything for the rest of my life, it would be this.i am in love with this curry and this rice.thank you so much.
Best Thai food in Australia. Live around the corner and been going since it opened. Have tried almost everything on the menu and all amazing and consistently top quality flavours and ingredients.
Got an Uber eats delivery… food was just ok… nothing special… satay chicken was a bit dry… unlikely to go back…. And unlikely to recommend
Ordered food through Menulog and never received it. I tried to call the restaurant for help but was told there was nothing they could do. Menulog wasn't very helpful either. Won't be ordering from them ever again.
Great food! I do take away food from this restaurant often! The food portion is a good amount! The staff is amazing. Highly recommended. Especially try their chilli basil chicken
Been coming here for a few years now. Nice location and friendly staff. Quality of food is still good but I feel it used to be better few years ago. Perhaps they’ve had a change of chefs in the kitchen. Either ways always wishing you all the success in the future.
Truly an underwhelming experience if ever I have had one. Chicken stir fry was an absolute joke - tiny portion, filled half a takeaway container. Roti was hard and dry like it had been cooked hours ago, and to make a bad situation funny they gave us massaman curry in a little container instead of peanut butter sauce.
Silver lining. Thai fried rice was OKAY.
Big thumbs down, disappointed money was spent.
I have never in my entire life had to wait 1hr 30 mins for my meal until I visited bluestone Thai in Mother’s Day. At 15 mins, I had to go to the bar and ask to order when it was meant to be table serve; at 30 mins I received a complementary bottled tap water. At 50 mins I had to go back to the bar for the tables drink orders which were beers from the fridge and at 1hr 25 I had to ask on the status of my meals. Shocking, horrific and traumatizing as I was trying to introduce my parents to Thai cuisine. Let it be known that bluestone has ruined the experience for ALL Thai restaurants.
Having said that, feel free to order via a delivery service as they catered to ALL the deliveries before they considered disabling the option and servicing the customers inside. 1 table event left as they waited just under 2 hrs and all they received was their 3 plates of entrees. My husband was too nice and paid for the meal even though they didn’t even consider comping any portion of it.
Ps- you issue bluestone thai, was not that you had only 2 people to service the front, but that you were chasing the money. Shame on you. You lost customers on this night and not only our table.
