Service was horrible, couldn’t get out of there quicker.i wish i threw my dollar coin at their heads before i walked out.

Very rude elderly woman serving clearly has no time for paying customers. Not so large chips tasted good but with service like that I’ll try elsewhere.

Not a friendly welcoming environment. Service is abrupt & rude, food is greasy & sickening. I have tried going back giving them the benefit of the doubt but I will not be back after my little sister walked out crying. Called to order was told 20 minutes arrived on 20 minutes and she was told we were late. Disgusting service.

Sweet lord…. If heaven was a fish shop then Bluebay is the holy land.

The bloody potato cakes are otherworldly. Chicken salt in spades plus the fish is FRESH — when I last went they were filleting fish whole into slices. You’re not coming here for Michelin star service — lean in and go hard on the condiments.

Potato cake of the century! I am in chicken salt heaven, thank you Team Blue Bay… I will be back again, and again, and again!

The yelling lady is way too much. I gave these guys a chance but the other reviews are correct. You won’t see me again. Also got the order wrong no doubt due to the loud screaming while the person was trying to take my order.

Fish was gross and soggy, most likely frozen because it definitely wasn't shark! Full of oil and no taste. Chips were alright.

The short girl with black hair is literally a psycho. The food is bad and the service is even worse. I literally saw the staff screaming at customers outside the shop. Like what the heck?

The lady that ran the shop didn’t understand my order. The store was unclean I mean really unclean

So my Fiance ordered dinner for us off her phone. At the time I had jumped into the shower after my 12hr shift. She gave them my name and number. They called back 5 mins later saying "we aren't cooking your order because the number you gave us was different to the one you called on. (Wow way to go Sherlock. Probably because it was my Fiance ordering for me.) She is on bed rest at the moment mind you. So I got there 30 minutes after we ordered after they said it was fine over the phone. I got there to pay. Well would you look at that they hadn't even started cooking it yet. So after waiting there for 20 minutes my food was finally cooked. No apology. No discount. Absolute disgrace. Family and friends now know the story. A lot of lost customers from tonight's atrocities.

Paid $8.50 for "large chips" looked like a handful from a baby. Chips took 30 minutes to prepare (shop was empty) and when I got there was told "oh sorry its a $10 minimum for card", usually something you should get told over the phone.and then had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for gravy to get it over the $10 minimum. Only ordered from there once before and wasn't impressed but due to regular fish and chip shop being closed on a Monday I thought maybe it could be better, it was not.

One of the, im assuming owner, was midway through taking an order, stopped and started arguing with one of the other workers. Unprofessional to say the least.

Unfortunately our fish and chips today were just terrible. Cold and way under par. Chips were soggy and we asked for chicken salt but appeared to have NO salt at all. Very disappointing.

Has been our go to fish n chip shop for years. But after messing up our order (fish bite instead of flake) and continually telling me that’s what I ordered when I rang to rectify, we won’t be back!

Ordered fish n chips for the family. After watching chaos for an hour we cancelled the order and went elsewhere. Yes it was a Friday evening, but there was very little food going out the door.

Didn’t get what we ordered at all called up and tried to say that I ordered a whole lot of different stuff when I didn’t at all definitely would not recommend didn’t get money back for it and got charged $15 soo rude

I'm thinking that their whiting doesn't taste quite like the whiting I know. The fish is generally pretty good though. Chips nice and love their large tasty scallops

My partner and I ordered some fish and chips here on a Monday night. My partner ordered at the front counter, then sat and waited while the two old hags that look like they could keel over and die at any moment argued the whole time. They then LOST THE ORDER AND HAD TO ASK MY PARTNER TO REPEAT IT ALMOST 15 MINUTES LATER. Do not buy your fish and chips from here, go to Hot Spot instead, much better service. Also Blue Bay has been around since I was a kid, I think it's time for it to shut down.

Not bad food, service pretty average, waited 25 mins for our order with only one order in front of us.
