Our go to place for a wine or an amazing steak for two, the team are fantastic and know the locals well - It feels like we are wining and dining with friends, the team are ever so friendly and attentive. I am sure we will be coming back for many more years to come.

Food was lovely however our water glass had lipstick on it and I got short changed when paying. Otherwise potential to be great

Delicious food (especially the pasta!), incredible service and a cosy, warm, inclusive atmosphere that you never want to leave.

I had a great time whiling away the hours here while catching up with a good friend. The "snacks" from the menu were well presented and tasty. The service was attentive and friendly. Suddenly one hour had turned to two and then three and even then it was still like sure. Let's have another glass of wine. I'm not from over that side of town but when I'm there next I will be returning. It's classy but casual, there's a courtyard to enjoy the sun (if it's shining) and a terrace. If you're looking for a cheap meal then there's probably other options in the villiage that would suit you, but for quality, tasty meal/snacks and some drinks in a friendly environment, I'd say it's worth stopping by!

Pretty disappointed. I ordered the tagliatelle with beef in pomodore sauce. Sounded delicious, especially when you’re hungry. What was disappointing was finding chorizo in the dish as soon as I started to eat - not a good surprise when I don’t eat pork. Was not mentioned on the menu either. I then ordered the chips as at that point didn’t want to wait much longer to eat - which were so over salted, only ate a small amount. I left hungry. Pretty disappointed overall!

By far the best steaks this side of the CBD, super friendly staff, wine list is fantastic! Awesome spot for lunch, dinner, and drinks! The outside area is covered and heated so makes for a great venue year round!

A great place for a quick meal, a drink or three or a delicious dinner. A great neighbourhood gem.

This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.sitting in a low candlelit room sets the mood for a fantastic experience to come, served by lovely warm-hearted staff who don't rush you to make choices.when I mentioned I was dairy intolerant it was no fuss at all, the fantastic chef catered to my needs and made changed to the menu that allowed me to have a fantastic meal with no stress of feeling sick in a few hours time.the food overall was the most amazing, perfectly cooked, dream worthy food I've ever had.when it was time for sweets the menu only offed dairy filled options but the chef once again went out of his way to make me a delicious fruity delight topped with candles and a sparkler for my partner as he was the reason we were having this fantastic meal to celebrate his 25th birthday.the chef himself left the kitchen to have a chat with us about what changes he made for our meals and how he came up with the ideas, he was ready for any and every question i had.at the end of our night, I went to the till to pay the bill and I was expecting a pricey price tag to come my way but I was proven wrong, for 2 fantastic mains, 1 non-alcoholic drink, 4 alcoholic drinks and a not on the menu dessert it was a surprisingly low bill, all totaling to under $115.

I cannot express enough how amazing BLUE TONGUE WINE BAR is.
I definitely will be returning more than once!

I often walked past noticing it was very busy. Finally tried their food and. WOW! Now I know. Lamb gnocchi was delicious and a very generous portion too.

Delicious Rose and friendly staff. Worth popping in to whilst strip shopping in Elwood. Will definitely go back to sample the food.
Not a fan of the plastic plants out the back but that's minor in the scheme of things and not worth rating them as 4 stars.

Good food and wine. Too noisy to converse with dinner companions, constantly bumped because of bar crowd.

Great little bar for a drink. Haven't been for a meal but the service has always been great for a drink with mates.
