Every time we go into blue sky the staff are very friendly, and the fishing equipment is awesome

Has a good selection of gear but find Anaconda and BCF to have on average better prices and specials.

Great customer service. Had to get new boots and being fussy about fit, it was good that I had such good help trying on different styles.

Very disappointed with my recent experience.
Exactly 1 year ago bought a bunch of fishing gear, rod, hooks, sinkers and the team were very helpful with recommendations.
Came back this year for another holiday. Had not used the rod since, all gear was still in the Blue Sky bags. Reel arm snapped reeling in on about 3rd cast out, no snag, no resistance at all, just snapped.
Went to Blue Sky to ask for some help, first staff member was great and said they could help me for sure, they asked for the manager to come over.
"Can't help you, no parts"
"Can you replace it under warranty? "
"No all I can do is sell you something else"
"Can you give me a discount? "
"No full price"
Just cold and unhelpful, I'd spent a couple of hundred $ last time on their advice, used it only for a couple of days and it broke.
I was polite and the first staff member looked so awkward with how the manager was handling the situation. All the manager needed to do was provide some sympathy, a token $5-10 off a reel and I would have walked away disappointed but accepting.
I've now told a bunch of people, those fishing in Swan Hill, about my experience, customers who would have shopped there and now gone elsewhere.
Hopefully others have a better experience than me.

I love this outdoor store.
Its my favourite in Victoria.
Has everything you need and team are super helpful.
Just wish it was closer to Melbs.

I've bought a few things here with no regrets, good products and range. I usually buy my bait here, it's worth a pit stop.

Really helpful staff with great local fishing knowledge. All the outdoor supplies you need, and live bait available!

Excellent for the out doors person all activities for the camper and very large range of everything you need and more also out doors hobbies and sports. Excellent customer service and very hospitable staff that go the extra mile to help you if needed. Would give six star in my books
