Blue Rock Picnic Area

The whole area is lovely. It was enjoyable to walk around the lake and chat with very friendly locals. But in the picnic area, I couldn't find recycling or garbage bins. (maybe I missed them) I believe that more bins = less litter.

Great new all abilities playground and there's plenty of picnic tables for sitting.

Only thing I found is while the playground is fenced in there is gaps all along the bottom of the fence allowing children to escape.

I go kayak fishing here. It's also a great spot to take the kids. Lots of green space, a brilliant park, BBQ area and a lovely walk along the lake. A great place for a great day out

Beautiful play area for kids of all ages, they even have bucket swings and a big flat circular swing for toddlers. Lots of fun things like tubes that carry sound, xylophone, climbing bars, slides etc. Has a childproof gate around the area too. It was exceptionally clean, good parking, nice picnic area near the water, table tennis area. Very nice, the nicest park I have seen in Gippsland so far.

Dogs were everywhere, Without leash breaking park vic rules and law people were rude and Alcohol everywhere, not a good place for family with young kids.

BBQ area, plenty of space to do picnic. Kids park and toilets. Recommendfor family day out and BBQ. Boat ramp also available and plenty of parking space.

Love this spot. Great for a picnic, BBQ and comes with a bonus playground that's guaranteed to keep the kids busy. Perfect access to the water for a swim or kayaking!

Lovely scenic lake, plenty of space for all to sit and relax or play. Love how you can bring your pets too.

Nice and quiet, with secured playground and BBQ options. Washroom and toilets are fine. Must take back your own rubbish, no bin options available.

Great place to take family and friends for a play, swim, picnic or bbq. Good facilities and amenities. Excellent 5 km walking trail.

The times I've been there it's always been clean.
Could always do with more BBQ facilities in peak times.

Great picnic area, large metal rotunda with several picnic tables, public toilets, electric BBQ's and a fantastic outdoor playground for the kids. All of the facilities and the grounds are clean and well kept. Great place for an outdoor family gathering

Lots of people / cars but plenty of space too, so not crowded. Lake is plenty big enough for everything that can park there. Area for swimming / kayaking away from motors. Too many dogs off-lead (they should NOT be) and mouthy bogans not caring about it. Otherwise great place to swim / walk / kayak / BBQ / chill.

Very beautiful place for picnic. It has free parking zone, bbq zone, shaded seating areas and public toilet. Recommended for family picnic. One can bring their pet aswell.

Go early to pick your spot, great free place to visit. Beautiful lake. Plenty of amenities, it does get busy though.

Big grassy field overlooking lake with boat launch and pier. Kids playground. All amenities included; water, toilets, shaded bbq area and covered seats for eating.
