68I have just had breakfast at this Cafe food was great, waitress was very rude, that's why I have given 1 star.
Very disappointing experience. I love when staff follow COVID-19 protocol however the staff here seem to selectively follow it and allow the friends from the 'book club' to wonder around without masks, sneezing and coughing everywhere, whilst others are not allowed to enter without a mask.
Waiter was rude and despite the café being empty she decided to sit us in a remote corner without asking and became aggravated when we moved.
Food was average and for the price point, it was neither good quality or large quantity.
There are many more cafés around that I would recommend before visiting here again.
Somewhat hidden in an ex bowling place, in the middle of a factory area. Limited vegan options but the muesli bowl was delicious, good quality and good flavours.
Odd little place. Popular with the older croud. We ordered the potato gems with brisket. The brisket burger, the calamari salad and the hot sticky chicken wings.
The chicke wings were ok. I didn't realise that hot meant temperature rather than spice. It didn't really go with the flat bread an coleslaw. The brisket was nice on the tater tots but a little too overpowering on the burger.
Mum and her partner absolutely loved the calamari. The coffee was really good too.
The corn fritters are to die for.the menu has something for everyone.the kids menu will not disappoint there is more seating since last time I visited.and of course the staff are friendly and the service prompt.all in all a pleasant experience.
Great menu, meals were delicious. Coffee as well.
Interior rustic. And a great little section of local homewares, food and alcohol.
Poor manners. It seemed that if you weren't spending a lot that they looked down on you. The coffee tasted very burnt. Very disappointing-they used to be nice. Perhaps under new management.
Although quiet at lunch time on Friday. The cafe has an ambience. Our lunch was very good.
Staff were friendly. I hope it is well patronised.
Groovy café with a bunch of stuff inside, small goods, craft beers. They roast their own coffee beans and their food is delicious. Definitely recommend this place.
Great food and service at this surprising venue!
Good variety on the menu with veggo options. Casual vibe
A variety of local food and gifts and retro items for sale
Easy parking out front.
The potato gems were so crispy and so many of them. Toasted chicken Turkish sandwich had a very nice flavour, more than just the everyday sandwich. Cheesecake was yummy and the cold brew affogato was to die for.
Where do I start? Perhaps the beginning. So, pulled up to a swimming pool in the middle of an industrial estate. Got inside the swimming pool to find this quirky little gem. Walk up the ramp and enter this eclectical Aladdin's cave of a place. Remember, 8ts a café, I'm hungry and want to eat, but I'm side tracked by the trinkets I'm try to get my wife not to buy (came for a coffee and some brekkie!). The place is just a gasp of inquisitiveness every time I turn my head. Floor of a ten pin bowling arena. The old adverts painted on the walls. The miss matched tables and chairs.oh, and the food was great too. Would definitely recommend, however, expect to take an extra half an hour
Trendy cafe, excellent service and the food was top. Highly recommend the brisket burger and the potato gems with brisket. Definitely go here if you are staying in the dromana rosebud area.
Ordered the corn fritters and the loaded potato gem (which they ran out of gem that day so we agreed to have chips instead).
Food was quite nice but unfortunately the coffee were just average.a bit disappointed.
The compliment part is the staff are doing a fantastic job of following the COVID rules. Remember to bring your mask into the cafe because they have an nice corner to sell some nice items.
A nice cafe for a group of friends to chill and relax:)
What a great cafe. My wife and dropped in for breakfast while waiting for the Arthur's Seat chair lift to open.
The prices are very reasonable the service was awesome and I compliment the staff for making us feel welcome and for service
Loved the homemade scones and the cafe had a great homely atmosphere.
Such a cute cafe! I was able to pick from a few vegan options which was great. I love the vintage style posters and decor and how they had cute items for sale. The food was very good and I would love to go again.
Nice cafe and (coffee) roasters with craft and other produce from the local area. The cafe had a very unique and homely feel, set up in a converted bowling alley.
Vegan wrap was absolutely delicious, and the croissant and the slice! Be sure to check out this place if you’re in Rosebud. Great giftware and local produce as well. Love it!
Nice set up. Friendly staff, nice drinks, can’t fault them. Sadly the pastries are not very good. The muffins were pretty dry and tasteless, and the flourless orange cake was awful (about $7 and ate just one tiny mouthful, the rest went in the bin), not very good in all honesty.
Yet another place on the peninsula where a flat white is apparently a milky mess filled to the brim, with a vague hint of coffee taste.
