Blue Marlin Fish n Chips

This is by far my new favorite place in Melbourne! The quality of the fish and meats they sell here is next level!

I loved how every dish was so presentable and it tastes just as good as it looked!

They had a huge variety of fish, from barumandi to salmon and you can get them grilled or even fried! I definitely plan on coming back here very soon!

The food here was very affordable for the quality food you’re getting!

Craving fish&chips ordered thr most delicious fish and chips. I devoured and savoured every mouthpiece.omg.yummy.absolutely the best. Definitely coming back for more.

First time at this place. Packed as on a Friday night, the wait was well worth it. Best calamari and flake we have had, even the little monkeys thought so. The salad took us back to Europe and we could just imagine being back and eating this fresh meal. We left talking about it and thinking of our euro summer 2023. We'll definitely come back soon and tell others. What a great place!

Staff are very disrespectful and do not have manners. There are two ladies in particular that are usually either at the register or in the function room whose faces tell the customer you are not welcome. I actually went inside to order some food and those two ladies thought I'm an Uber eats driver which made them get extremely disrespectful and even verbally agressive. I do not recommend this place due to their staff disrespectful behaviour and prolonged waiting time. There are other places where staff would respect and value you whether you are a customer or an Uber eats driver. I do not recommend this place at all. Next time if I'm nearby, I'll get those two ladies names and publish it here so that the person managing this shop may do something. I suspect the manager would do something given their behaviour and facial expressions tell you everything the moment you see it let alone how long those two ladies have been at this place.

I visited in the evening and everything we had was amazing!

Highly recommend the fish & chip pack, the batter is crispy and the fish is really flavourful. The chips are thick and very crunchy!

The prawn skewer pack with rice and salad is fantastic dish for something more on the healthier side.

The blue marlin special burger is high quality, juicy and cheesy!

They have a fantastic menu which caters for everyone, the interior is really nice, the staff are really friendly and attentive, thanks to Mia for looking after us.

The food is always quality here, staff are friendly and the fitout is awesome! There’s something for everyone, covering the burger/Cheatmeal scene, and also providing plenty of fresh & healthy options!

1st experience after reading amazing reviews. Sunday night. Yuk. Soooo oily. It tastes revolting like they have not changed the pil for a few weeks. Nup not for me. The flake grilled was tge size of white bait. 40 bucks no way

I got a classic burger, calamari, and fries. Overall the food was delicious. The one that stood out was the calamari it was fresh and really tasty.

Wow very nice bugers, fish and chips were delightful also, was very impressed and definitely will be back when in the area. Maybe even take the wife on occasions, it was that good and they serve alcohol what a bonus. A+

Would love to give a higher review but the fact you dint have prawns for offer on uber is beyond sad

Absolutely amazing! The best food going around and exceptional service! We have since moved from Caroline Springs and still try and visit whenever we are in Melbourne.

Wow! This place is awesome. Get the grilled barra and the salt n pepper squid fried. It will not disappoint!

Went in for lunch with my sister and three kids all under two years old. Upon arrival was advised they don’t have any high chairs.so chose a booth to sit in so the kids were partly secure and I left my 12 month old in the pram. Booths extremely uncomfortable to sit in, let alone move around in and feed a toddler and a baby. Wanted to make the baby a bottle of formula before our food arrived and to my surprise was advised they do not have boiling water.was just offered a microwave (which kills all the nutrients in formula).
overall a nice place to eat and the grilled fish and grilled calamari is fantastic! Although I saw this is sprinkled with vegeta - which is loaded with MSG.so would order plain salt if I ever went back.
Great vibe, but if you’re expecting family friendly.maybe order takeaway instead.

Fabulous staffs and service. Fish and chips was fantastic. However, the burger patties were overcooked and a tad dry.

Unfortunately…. These guys have killed other fish n chips for me. The bar is raised so high, I do t bother going anywhere else. Truly fantastic every single time.

Being a head chef for 7 years you can’t help but judge everything you eat, tonight I followed my friends recommendations and had the luxury of eating at Blue Marlin. Not once did I even think about questing the food as every bit of It was perfect, i would give 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend and would suggest everyone tries this place out.
