Very delicious fish and chips. The salads are also very fresh. The atmosphere is really relaxed and inviting in the evenings. Highly recommended

This is my second time ordering from Blu. I ordered the Blu combo with grilled Blue Grenadier, chips and salad (Greek). Oh, and a potato cake for the drive home.
The potato cake was so salty I couldn’t finish it.
The fish was a generous serving size and quite nice.
The chips were poor, overcooked and crunchy (I understand this may be a personal preference).
The salad seemed reasonably fresh and was generous in size.
All in all though, particularly for the price (on the more expensive side of fish n chips) I was left pretty underwhelmed.
Undecided yet whether I will go back.

They have dropped in quality and service.
I arrived to pick up my order only to have the incompetent girl ask me after standing at the counter for 5 minutes if she can help me.
The size of the drink cans are only 200ml not 375ml as advertised on their menu, basically paying more for 375ml and getting 200ml.
My burger was horrible with 3 slices of ham folded in lieu of bacon and a small patty.
My gourmet walnut pear salad was disgusting, the pear was discoloured and dehydrated. Not worth the premium they charge. Will not return.

Amazing fresh food and amazing service, especially from the girls behind the counter! Always working so hard to keep customers happy. Keep up the great work ladies!

Great food, a little bit overpriced however. A little bit of a wait, but that's understandable. The only downfall is the girls on the front counter are so so rude, especially the one with the blue tips and black hair lady & the 2 blonde ladies. Fix the attitude:)

Ordered Salt and Pepper squid with salad tonight. Disappointed to see an alive worm (see photos) in the salad container. Not sure if myself or my family had ingested any others. Contacted the restaurant to inform them and was offered a credit for the salad! Not very pleasant and very disappointed. Not coming back again.

I've been on such a massive journey that I'm seriously still weaving and woving from the ride of it all but now that I've had a bit of space to process and reflect about my day in this area and declutter fact from casual annoyance, I've come to the realisation that yes, this Seafood experience was among the best I've had for this particular kind of food outlet.

The salad was fresh and refreshing, the salt and pepper squid was very tasty and well enjoyed.

The variety of seafood and promises of how it could be delivered and consumed really did make me nod in approval.

The suburb is clean and orderly, the patrons were also and the staff were efficient and friendly.

It was a complete fluke that I ate here, a complete fluke that I was recommended the best Mechanic in Greater Melbourne just down the road and it would equally be a complete fluke if I ever visit this area again - but I would, if only to come to this excellent seafood restaurant.

If you are a seafood lover this restaurant should be on your 'must visit list'. You can find pretty much any kind of fish or seafood served very fresh and tasty in this restaurant. It is very spacious and can gather small or big groups together. Ordered too much by accident ended up eating them all. Staff were very helpful with smiley faces.

Always very good quality food (I especially like the mixed bean salad) and very friendly staff. Always a love experience for a quick bite to eat.

Average food and no difference to a pub meal. Staffs are friendly and probably under staff for how busy it is.

Great experience. Came here in November 2019 and the proportion and quality of food was amazing. The chips were nice and crispy and weren’t soggy or dry. The flake was crunchy and delicious. The other side dishes were also really nice. The staff is good and the music is also nice. Good for a family meet up.

Excellent fresh seafood from both the in-house restaurant and takeaway. Some of the staff can be a bit arrogant at times. Limited parking available.

The seafood here never disappoints! The fish is always fresh, and portions are very generous. Love the whole grilled baby barramundi, and the honey sesame bug tails. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I have been few times in this place in my opinion they serve less fish portion plenty of chips I don't know why may because different in price on the fish I had wild barramundi was nice coleslaw not much taste it was a small piece of a barramundi I don't know if I go anymore I must be fair every restaurants we go now they give you a small portion maybe because of covid-19 to make up for the loss we have been many times in this place that's all i have to say

To say this is the best fish and chips I've had might be an understatement, but it was absolutely amazing. The chips were kind of your standard frozen bag fish and chips, but the actual seafood was spectacular.

It was prepped and cooked perfectly, the batter was more of a tempura than a standard beer batter, and everything was tender and delicious.

Instead of the standard thin fillet of a flake or barramundi that's fried beyond recognition, their fish of the day was served as multiple, thick cut portions of blue grenadier, which was simply fantastic.

Definitely worth the trip and I look forward to trying just about everything on their menu.

This is by far the best fish & chip shop in Melbourne! Delicious, fresh food served every time! An appetising menu with lots to choose from & fantastic customer service.

Delicious and a wide range of seafood. It can get really busy (because of how popular they are), so plan accordingly or pre-order for take-away. Eat all the things!

Not sure if the wait and price is worth it. Waited 45 minutes for the food to come out. Other tables who ordered after my table got thier food before we did. Also it wasn't just us I notice a lot of other tables were complaining about the wait too. The food was good but it was expensive and the wait just put me off.
