Great products, I’ve been going to Bloch for years for pointe shoes and clothes but everytime I go they are always understaffed and have like 4 pointe fittings at one time so when I try to quickly buy something I have to wait for 30 minutes because they keep putting my stuff last and putting others first pair of pointe shoes above my 1 item when I have been waiting for longer which I understand is a big deal because it’s your first pair but I’m not waiting 30 minutes for a 1 minute purchase.

Amazing customer service.
The girls really looked after me, were very helpful and so friendly. The store was really inviting and so clean. I found what I needed very quickly. Will definitely shop here in the future. Thanks so much!

*Bloch Malvern East Store *

Went to get a new pair of point shoes and was helped by Isabella who was extremely helpful and patient when I couldn’t decide what shoes Felt right. Couldn’t decide after 1 hour so she Ordered in another size for me to come try on when they come in. I finally found the right pair after a total of 2 hours and and thankful I was able to take my time and really decide not feeling rushed.trying on all different sizes and padding options. Isabella is great at finding a pair that best fit and I left with a bag full of goodies. Will be coming back for my future dance needs worth the hour drive. Thankyou

A variety of dance apparel and shoes are available here. But most of all it's the customer service that is great. It was the first time shopping for dance gear for my daughter, and I received really friendly and informative assistance. It didn't feel rushed at all.

Please be aware, the products selling in this store are over-priced. The skirts are priced at $39.95 where you can easily find same products selling around $24.99. And this store doesn't provide refund. Please make sure you will not change your mind before buying anything from this store.

Have brought my daughter for ballet, demi pointe and tap shoe fittings as she has narrow feet which bloch seems to fit her better. The staff are patient however be sure to have your child try on tights before purchasing as once the packet is open bloch will not even exchange them!
Bloch also have their own dance socks which are great for contemporary dance as they offer compression for the dancer reducing muscle fatigue!
As the staff are dancers they understand how the shoes need to be fitted correctly!

Loved the variety of dance wear. Was able to find something I couldn't in other stores. The girls are absolutely lovely, helpful and tolerant of little children the service us outstanding in easy to find location. Highly recommended

I would like to express my appreciation for the old fashioned style of customer service that I had thought the new century had brought to an end. Both the manager and area manager went out of their way to resolve my daughters problem with her shoes. Not only did we leave with a smile but I was happy to tell any one that would listen of my experience. Keep up the amazing service. These girls know how to make customers happy. Its the little things that count. AAA+ I won't be going any where else.

TOO EXPENSIVE and BAD WILL. NO REFUNDS under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. No special treatment even if you spend a fortune. Start a good relationship with another shop that will care about your custom and treat you right.
I bought many items from this shop and they were all very very expensive. I have two girls who are starting dance. Both have the same size foot and the shop didn't have two of the same size. They were starting the next day and I needed them immediately. So I asked if I could get a refund if I bought the wrong size and it turned out to be just too big. The sales assistant nodded and said something. I am deaf so I didn't hear the answer but I saw the nod and assumed that if the answer was NO, he would have shook his head. Apparently what he did was say that they will not give refunds they only give credit no matter what. I didn't hear all of the conditions and exemptions. I just saw the nod of his head and assumed that the answer was YES. He did not say NO. Don't buy something when you know it is wrong. We will not give you your money back under any circumstances. So they allowed me to buy something the wrong size, knowingly, when they didn't have the right size and couldn't get it in time. The sales assistant was not interested. Actually, when I was trying to decide what to do saying 'well? Well? ' Just unhelpful, disinterested. Obviously wishing he was off dancing, living his dream rather than dealing with this stupid woman who is asking for two pairs of shoes of the same size. This stupid deaf woman that can't hear all of the conditions that apply when you buy something and need a refund.
I went somewhere else and bought the correct size and came to return it and then found out that they do not refund. Not even when the person returns the item within 12 hours. Not even when the person EXPLAINS that they are buying the wrong size.
They don't care. I contacted the head office and they don't care either. They said because they put up signs saying 'no refunds for change of mind' that this covers my situation. It doesn't because I didn't change my mind, I bought them hoping they would not be TOO big to wear. They were. And I need a refund because they don't have the correct size before the afternoon.
Now I have to go to ACCC and start a big case that is a big hassle. All for $72.00. Is this worth the trouble? They don't care about good will. They don't care that I spent over $400 on goods. They don't care that I will never come back. They have a policy. I have a policy of not allowing shops to shaft me too. So I won't be going back there. Maybe I will spend the $72 credit note rather than bother with a big hassle at the ACCC but I will never ever be spending any more. And I have about ten years of dance ahead of me at least. So they have lost this customer.
I will be going to SANSHA in Glen Eira rd. They sell all of the same things but it is way cheaper. At least 10% cheaper on the dance shoes and the leotards. I couldn't believe it! So instead of $72 it is $60. Or instead of $80 for a leotard, it is $42. What a drag that I ever went to Bloch. Not only a rip off but also filled with BAD WILL.

Very helpful. Went to get my 3rd pair off pointe shoes today and it was very easy to find a new comfortable pair with the help of a lovely assistant. Bloch is very good for shoes and leotards.

My daughter and I were very impressed with Bloch in Chadstone a few Friday nights ago. We were served by the most helpful young lady called Natalie. It really was an absolute delight to have her help us in getting the right Jazz dancewear. Natalie was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Thank you!

3 people working and no one bothered to say hi when we walked in. One person just stared and continue talking to other staff. Not going back
