Blazing Stump Motel & Suites Wodonga reviews
60Very friendly welcome from staff who keep reception open long hours. Room was spacious and immaculately clean. I was provided with 300ml of fresh milk. Yay! The bathroom has a lovely long bench for all your things. Gowns in the wardrobe nice touch that you don't see much any more.
I have been coming here on and of for many years and it has never disappointed. Although it has changed hands a couple of times, the staff have always been lovely and the rooms well appointed for their price point.
Friendly staff and great breakfast. My only complaint was small towels, otherwise a great place to stay.
Amazing staff, great comfortable room and close to the restaurant. Myself and partner have stayed here multiple times and have always received really great service. Vicky today 07/08/2023 was really funny. Thank you.we had a good laugh, kristy and mick
Travelling with kids is never easy, it is such a relief to encounter such lovely service. Jodie is a gem. Excellent communication and made the whole booking process so simple. Easy access. Clean comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
Very friendly front desk staff. Super helpful. Rooms basic however very clean. Nice and quiet at night. No fuss check in/out process.
Had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of weeks while in the area for work. Great rooms serviced daily by friendly team. Breakfast available daily from 6.30am with continental or buffet brekkie choices served by friendly team of lovely ladies. Do it yourself onsite laundry. Room service meals available from pub next door.
Mustn't forget the lovely ladies up front fantastic service and special thanks to Kylie.
Tell the chef who cooked my steak on the 13th that it had a great crust - best pub steak I’ve had in a long time.
Lovely place to stay, however there was an old dog dropping in the front yard and the shower tap fell off. Put it back on but couldn't turn the water off fully. The damm thing dripped all night. Not good enough when you pay over $300 for the 1 night stay.
We have stayed here 6 times to visit Family.
Great location, comfortable Rooms, great Facilities
Amazing motel, rooms are spacious, all utilities available, cleaning is top notch, plenty of towels! Highly recommended!

Beautiful accommodation, good restaurant, well priced and in a lovely spot. Only missed 1 star for service because room service was unavailable due to staff shortages.
Got into an accident and the lovely receptionists working on 27/5/22 helped me so much - going out if their way to make sure I was ok.
Outstanding and compassionate service
Highly recommend this Motel, very large and clean accommodation. Stayed for Business purposes, the rooms have everything you could possibly need, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Reception were happy to print off an email and make copies, nothing was a bother. Absolute pleasure staying here, will definitely stay again - 5 Stars
I have been staying at the Blazing Stump Motel & Suites for years, whether it is a Junior Suite or the Envy Apartment I have always found the cleanliness of the room to be immaculate. Each room is fully self contained and have all the amenities I could possibly need. The comfort of the beds are 1st rate and the linen is always very clean. Staff are very friend and always go out of their way to accommodate my every need. I highly recommend this motel.
Went to a family members 60th here. Went to the bar to get soft drink for myself and my partner. I asked for ginger beer and lemon lime bitters. I payed with card and the total was $15.60. For two soft drinks? ! Went back to the table and started drinking. I told my family how much the drinks were and we suggested something didn’t add up. So then my partner went to the bar to ask why it was so expensive, the lady then laughed and said it came for a keg. The ginger beer was alcoholic. I am a P player playing DD, I had no idea this drink was alcoholic, the lady at the bar never asked for ID or if it was either soft drink or alcoholic. By the time we realised it was alcoholic I had already had half a glass. All I can say is that I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism carried out by the bar staff. The fact they laughed and said oh it’s alcoholic really was the worst. They had no consideration at all. What if I had ordered this ‘soft drink’ for one of the kids at the party? No apology no refund nothing.
Wonderful accommodation, very clean & spacious rooms, staff are extremely accommodating, would highly recommend this property if staying in Wodonga.
40 of us have just returned from a Highlands tour and we all stayed at the Blazing Stump Motel. Mark and the rest of the staff were fabulous. Greeting us warmly on arrival and tending to all our needs.
Our rooms were great, spacious, clean and well-appointed.
The staff gave additional assistance when needed. I can't praise them enough. Peg and The Brighton Central Combined Probus Club
