I can highly recommend Blackwood family lawyers, they handled my divorce proceedings, mediation, settlement agreement and annulment application. They were very thorough, helpful, answered all my questions and most importantly took the emotion and some of the stress away from the process. They informed me if the process and kept me in the loop throughout the process. The charges were only for work done and I never felt they charging for things they didn't do.

Their fees were in line with industry standard fees. I recommend you do as much background info gathering and have all your documents ready prior to engaging and during the process to limit wasted time. Also, ensure when contacting via email or phone to ask questions that you write as many as possible per call/email. Multiple calls/emails etc all incur fees so limit these where possible (this would be with any lawyer).

Overall I was very happy that Blackwood's, they looked after my interests during the divorce process and certainly achieved a significantly better outcome compared to trying to negotiate on my own.
