Grateful for the wonderful team at Lumus Blackburn South today. Walked in at 4: 50pm (GP ran late) for an X-ray for my daughter and they kindly agreed to stay back to see her. They don’t get paid for overtime so this was an unexpected kindness. Thank you!

Love this centre. Our whole family has always been going here for various tests and always happy with the service. Brought my dad for a CT last week and the service is extremely efficient and smooth and all staff are all extremely nice and helpful!

Went in for a 12 week ultrasound and although I requested for no student, a student was present. I didn't mind so much, I figured it can't hurt, except for when it came time for photos of bub and the student, whom the technician told me would print photos for me, didn't print any photos. So I now have no photos to show my family, friends or significant other or to document my firsr pregnancy journey. On top of this incident, the receptionist on the day was extremely rude and I am disappointed to have had my first pregnancy ruined by choosing to come here for my scans. Would not recommend this facility to my worst enemy.

We came here for a Nuchal translucency scan, Not happy that there was a student in the room and the ultrasound technician didn’t explain this to us. Also didn’t like the appointment was prolonged with the technician as she had to explain everything to the student. To make matters worst she let the student have a turn, which is a big no no specially when it comes to my unborn baby as it’s never ideal to use modalities that can lead to overheating if kept for too long (which already this was a very long session). The whole time I felt that the student was their focus and not the paying customer. The technician was quite rude and abrupt with us at times when we asked questions and so for the above reasons I do not recommend this place. Unfortunately after leaving my honest feedback the manager called only to accuse me of lying and she was certain her technician would have told me about the student. Clearly the business owners know nothing about business or customer service in Australia specially when she called she started talking to me in another language (unclear why) when I am proficient in English, prefer English and I been living here for over 20 years!

Staff and specialists are professional, both in person and on the phone. Great that many of their services are fully covered by Medicare.

1. One of the radiology staff in Luma Imaging Centre was misleading and tried to convince me to take the test. I was told Nuchal Translucency is a combined test, need to take with Maternal Screening Test as a package.

2. My Doctor-GP did not refer me to take blood test within my Nuchal Translucency ultrasound.

3. At that time I questioned about the Maternal screening test, Doctor Never told me about this blood test and also I told the radiology staff I did the NIPT test already.

4. I have been told the Maternal Screening Test is a very old test and it's not used for 5-7 years. Why would I take the Maternal Screening test after I had a NIPT test?

5. This test made a big confusion for my doctor and me. I felt very depressed and anxious.

I clearly felt imaging centres try to mislead and convince patients to purchase extra services which they don't really need. I am disappointed and shocked that these things happened in Australia, nowadays.

Received my appointment very promptly. Instructions were very easy to follow. Friendly staff. No wait time. Results sent straight through to my GP. Very happy with the service. Thank you. Dee

I am a fairly regular visitor to Lumus Blackburn South, and they are always the most professional, polite and respectful team.
Add friendly and helpful and you can't ask for more in what can be a stressful and frustrating circumstance.
They are a great team.

No complaints with front staff.very nice.
Absolutely night mare and bad experience with the technicians not only was very moody and rude but made my wife to go through a test which was not requested from the main doctors and send us the invoice worth $ 200 plus. We called our doctors and they were surprised and also have lodged a complaint.

I visited for a CT scan a few weeks ago and from the start found all the staff happy and easy to deal with. It seemed very well organised and my radiographer Laurence was on time and friendly. Thank you all!

Went to get an x-ray for my 4 year old - excellent all round. Efficient service, very short wait (maybe 10 mins), opinion on x-ray provided there and then - polite and bulk billed. Couldn't ask for more!

Arrived late for my appointment. Trying to cope with very heavy traffic looking out for a sign which said eastern imaging. Would have been helpful when booking my appointment if I’d been told of the name change! Initially I refused to sign the last page of the form as I was categorically told there would be no charge. So queried it with receptionist who in my opinion said “well your (my) GP Doesn’t know everything! ” On getting into the room told the lady I was t paying anything have prolio injections twice a year. After a lot of humming and ahh ing agreed the test would indeed be free. Will

Ample parking and very good accessibility (no stairs, wide, gently sloping entrance, some designated disabled parks), spacious waiting area. I had a short wait with no appointment and service was bulk billed.

Sadly I had my paperwork put into wrong pile and I was 75min waiting for simple -10min xray. Reception issue.

The service and cooperation to book my patients promptly is something unique which I have not seen from other radiology centres and the reports are quite comprehensive and accurate and injection procedures are done flawless and I highly recommend all my patients to go to blackburn radiology as first choice!

Over the last 20 years, I have used and will continue to use this friendly, clean, and professional facility for my imaging and pathology needs. Waiting time is more than good for such a busy and popular place.
All the doctors espe ially Dr Maryam, the nurses and even the receptionists are very pleasant znd helpful.

I came in on a busy day with no appointment but they still managed to fit me in about 15 minutes for a quick X-ray. All done within 20 minutes. Receptionists and the radiologist were so lovely and professional.

I had 2 cortisone (ultrasound quided) proceedures at blackburn healthcare imaging services this week. Thank you so much team, your professionalism, speed, care and precision made me feel comfortable knowing I was in good care. My pain in both knees has reduced considerably which has improved my quality of life and mobility. Thanks team best regards Nick
