Blackburn Lake Primary School

I used to go to this school, made some good mates there, but the actual school is so bad. The teachers are such Karen's as we always used to get in trouble a lot when we'd do the smallest thing. Some of the teachers there are just losers such as Duncan and David. Also used to be some real nasty ones who were Phil and Judy. We got in such big trouble once because we'd always call him " Phil the Dill. " Better off sending your kid to St Tomas which is just down the road from Blacky Lake.

We have bad Pe teachers called Phil who has took a break since term 1 and is lying in bed earning money every minute, he hosts activities in Pe like throwing overarm and underarm kicking footys and soccer balls and such simple stuff fr the grade 4 5 and 6s. Only Brendan is the good pe teacher

Great school, very knowledgeable teachers/educators, always there for the kids, so well structured and organised as a school, lots of school activities to choose from for all kids and ages, amazing location next to tranquil Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, kids so happy there, always excited when its school day!

I've being feeling very reflective recently and as a year 12 in 2022. I really miss the good old days at this beautiful school, the staff are warm and welcoming, there are great memories to be made here. So parents do not miss out on an incredible opportunity to send your children here. Trust me you will not regret it! Thank you Blackburn Lake Primary School for all the memories!

I loved this school! Coming from a ex student its truly the best, the surroundings are beautiful and nice, I loved the sports program and the teachers there they are so nice a supportive, I sometimes see them around and they always say hi when I pass!

Ex-student here, and looking back I loved and still do love this school to bits.
Everyone is so supportive of each other, and it has such a positive vibe to everything. Students would call teachers by their first name, not because of lack of respect, but rather because they see them almost as friends, opening up and making it a much better learning experience. So many things I use now I learnt from this school, and the memories I’ve made has been pretty much only positives.
Now, for the one the parents care most about - the education. The education in this school, simply put, is amazing. I learnt more in year 6 than I did in year 7 and 8, and my love for writing and English all started in this school from the encouragement of teachers.
If you’re thinking of sending your child here, you’re making the right choice.

Definitely not a School to get you far in life,
This school is for those who arent the most brightest students.there are far better schools in the nearby area that focus on both welbeing and academics

I have two children in different year levels at this school. Please don’t bring your children to this school.my child is currently in year 6 therefore I can not leave until next-year. The school has very bad teachers an idiot for a vice principal, And an angry old sport teacher. Teachers absent through all year levels, this school is very poor for education.reception staff very old and rude.i could go on forever about this rotten school but take the warning. If I could rate a zero I would.

Many of the kids attitudes are terrible and do not respect each other and the teachers. Many kids have been annoyed by this school and it’s staff as they are not teaching anything to the students. Out of the 6 sessions each day, only 1 will benefit the children’s knowledge. I have heard of some younger kids who do extremely inappropriate things and kids who throw rocks into some of the puddles that form after rain. One of the nicest teachers in the school will be unable to teach the younger generations as she has been away for 2 terms. Teachers favour the students who are popular and not kids excelling in their study or excel in sport or are very responsible. There are some very bad role models who do very unintelligent things which may damage young children’s minds. I would rate this school 0 stars if I could and I would definitely recommend not sending your children to this school.

Terrible school teachers don't care about there students and all they worry about is themselves my kids learning experience was terrible there was only 1 teacher who was incredible and her name if I re call was shari she thought a lot an deserves a raise other than that all the other teachers were nasty

Bullying and lack of communication with the school and teachers, we felt very disconnected, the teachers did nothing to nurture or assist my child with minor learning difficulties, and would only favor popular children. My experience was quite disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to this school. Favourism is high priority on there list!

I went here. No hat no play, kids. I was a bad boy and forgot my hat, and that isn't a pleasant experience, but being the savage I am, I respected their ultimatum and did as they requested! >w< Also I heard Jason isn't principal anymore

Extremely good school great surroundings and amazing teachers! I learnt a lot in grade 5 with the best teacher Duncan.when i grow up i want my kids to go to this school if its still up and running.

Beautiful surrounds and beautiful school. Some teachers are fantastic but some aren't. When they pick leadership roles, they are bias towards certain kids. Sometimes can be an unfair school.

This school is TRAiiiSH. The staff are horrible. Watch out for Judy the Devil toilets are not up to OHS standerds

The Principal and assistant principal took care of our son and supported his needs.
The teacher was knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I am truly happy for my son to be in this school. I think it is one of the best schools in the area.

Fabulous school. All our kids have attended, and all better for it! Beautiful location, next to Blackburn Lake Reserve.
