Blackburn English Language School reviews
4Excellent staff, but the Australian teachers are completely racist with the students, especially the Iranians, without considering that all the students of this school recently immigrated and need more mental support because they do not feel good from a mental and social point of view, and remember that Humans always make mistakes and always need to correct and learn, and in my opinion it’s good if sometimes teachers also think about this issue.
Attended this school in 2016 whilst I was in year 3. Before coming to Australia I knew no English and after simply one semester (2 terms) I had a basic understanding of the language that helped me out a lot when I transitioned into a proper primary school. Although from what I can remember we did english the most (self explanatory) and occasionally did maths. This did put me at a disadvantage once I began primary school but nevertheless I was able to quickly catch up. I do remember learning about Australian culture which I wouldn’t have been able to properly learn anywhere else so I must thank this school for guiding me in the right direction towards “fitting in” my new country.
Great staff, expert teachers, beautiful environment! The curriculum helps students who doesn’t know English language perfectly, it improves the children skills in reading, listening and especially writing and speaking. They have different excursions like zoo and pool as well.
I don’t know the teachers here, but the other staff members are just incredible. There is a wellness coordinator. She has basically mastered the art of bureaucracy. In addition, she is extremely good at making things personal. She is not a wellness coordinator. She is a business coordinator. Education is supposed to be a sacred thing. She has just successfully turned it into a business. Well done! Just like other losers, she probably thinks that she is somebody, but actually she is nobody. The real question to ask as a parent is “Do you trust this kind of person with your kids? ”
