Just went to one of their showcases / events: really impressed with the quality of the acts performed. Students and teachers put on a beautiful show and everyone was lovely. Highly recommend

Blackbird is an amazing dance studio with incredible teachers and the most amazing equipment! It is like a home away from home.

Started going to Blackbird in late 2019 and have loved every minute of it. Very inclusive culture with some amazing instructors teaching a diverse range of classes and a really supportive environment!

Aside from a unique vibe, an awesome studio setup, a wonderful variety of classes and the most talented and dedicated instructors it really is a home away from home and a place where I've never felt like I needed to be anyone but myself.

I've been taking Blackbird classes since it first opened, and I can honestly say that there is no place like Blackbird. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous, the teachers are supremely talented individuals whose skills and experiences amass in a wide spectrum of dance, theatre and circus backgrounds, and above all, it's truly a home away from home. I'm encouraged here, I'm challenged here, I'm supported here. There's a reason people travel from all over the world to be in this space. Blackbird is pure magic.

Blackbird is more than just your typical aerial fitness studio it is your home away from home. The instructors, students and co-owners are unlike any you have ever met before. Talented, respectful and just an all round great, fun bunch of people. Blackbird doesn’t just offer dance and fitness but also a safe place to be with amazing, like minded people. Highly recommend.

This space is not only beautiful visually, warm, and inviting, but it is filled with the most amazing people. The owners and teachers always have time for you, and each brings their own style and flair to their classes. I really enjoy the variety of classes which challenge me physically and mentally, be it improving my strength to do cool tricks on various apparatuses or learning to co-ordinate and move my body in time to changing styles of music while I get a great cardio workout. The friendly space draws in people from all walks of life, and there's always an opportunity to meet new people and hang out with good friends if you come to class a little early, too.

Blackbird has been the most welcoming pole & fitness studio I’ve experienced. A place that’s so chill, where all the instructors, staff and even long time students are so friendly and welcoming. The vibe of this studio is just perfect & the range of classes are fantastic! Highly recommend!

Blackbird is an amazing dance and aerial studio. The studio itself is beautiful and the trainers are extremely friendly and professional. The whole studio is like a second family and home to me. The community is extremely supportive and I have made so much progress there. I’m so sad I’ve moved farther away and can’t go much anymore, can’t recommend this studio enough!

This place is my home away from home. I’ve been to other pole studios but never before have I felt part of such a beautiful and welcoming community. The teachers are all ridiculously talented and I love all their classes. Blackbird also helped me discover a new obsession in aerial hoop and acro! I was pretty intimidated to start at Blackbird initially, but I'm so glad I did as it has been my home away from home for the last two years. In their stunning studio, they have a variety of state of the art apparatuses, and an instructor for each one. All of whom are so knowledgeable, supportive and talented. As well as all having their own individual style and techniques, providing you with a varied and creative learning environment that suits you. Throughout this Covid19 situation Blackbird has been amazingly supportive of their staff and students, helping us all get through this craziness with their online group classes and privates. Including group video call parties and motivational Q & As to help us all deal with this emotionally. Couldn't be more proud of the Blackbird team and happy to be part of their community in this weird time.

Aside from the studio being pleasing on the eye, the instructors are incredible and of a high level. Beginning is always the hardest part, I have found everyone helpful and all trying to do the same - learn something different while getting fit and having fun!

Casual classes have enabled me to build my skills up much more quickly & refined compared to doing a term of basic levelled classes.
