This is my go to whenever my friends and I are looking for Desserts after dinner in the city. This is a self serve place with limited seats, it does get busy after dinner time, so please be aware of it. We had the milktea hot pot (you can choose to have it served cold, warm or hot), flame torch Tofu pudding and Christmas Q'ffle which are all seasonal menu. Highly recommend the Christmas Q'ffle, it is chewier than your usual waffles and it is super cute.

Excellent grass jelly and drink options. Menu is quite adventurous, it also include bento box and hotpot milk tea. We really enjoyed the cold milk tea pot.

Excellent place to come when you have a craving for Taiwanese desserts. I recommend the Snow Ice range and the Blackball Signature dish. Friendly staff too.

Decent Asian dessert that does not create a hole in your pocket, and with choice of warm dessert for the winter night. I am personally not a dessert fan so to be honest as long as ingredients are fresh I have no complain:)

Wouldn't even consider coming here to get the drinks. The desserts (blackball signature) are still ok.

I ordered hot milk tea hotpot but it’s rather warm. It’s quite yummy by the way. The iced black tea was tasty too.

I usually only come here for their waffles which is always good but had the time to try few other desserts and it was just okay, nothing amazing unfortunately.

I'd say if you were going to eat this type of dessert, there are better places in melbourne cbd to go for.

Delicious boba! Loved the passion fruit green tea with coconut jelly. Lovely friendly staff too. Thank you, so refreshing!

Great desserts. Not too sweet. Snow ice has good flavour but could have been fluffier. Grass jelly was soft and smooth. Lots of variety with toppings. Was very busy on a weekend.

We're country boys, so this was a wonderful spot to discover late on a Friday night in the city! Generous serving of delicious boba, mochi and icecream, at a price that couldn't be argued with! Highly recommended!

Was an amazing experience! It tastes amazing and the staff was so friendly. It's well located in Chinatown, the vibe is so nice around on Friday night. Will definitely be back to try some more!

Wow, I can never forget the delectable serving of glutinous rice with all kind of toppings in it and serve hot. It’s like a buffet style of bubble tea that is guaranteed to send your taste bud to heaven and back asking for more. The waffle ice cream was also yummy beyond words! Seeing how the ice cream melted on the Waffle and scoping it up is an experience in itself. When popped in your mouth, the fusion of hot and cold trigger a sensation that can only be described as heavenly!

Highly recommended and would definitely come back for more sugar rush!

I ordered through delivery app and chose to pickup in the store. So as to service, no comments.

This is a bit of a disappointment. Ordered hotpot and made sure to choose hot option. However, it was luke warm at best and the area beneath the hotpot bowl looks like should have candle or something to make it hot (?) was empty - but wasn't sure.

We ordered three different bowls with a mixture of grass jelly, pudding, pearls, another type of jelly, taro and sweet potato balls. It was so refreshing and not too sweet and had great texture with the different types of ingredients. I would definitely order takeaway from here again.

As a Taiwanese I can safely recommend this w confidence to other Taiwanese folks visiting from Bris or Syd and after some good legit Taiwanese dessert- look nowhere else, do yourself a favour and get the signature bowl.

Favourite place in Melbourne alongside Hector’s deli that I tried on this trip- was so good I had to go back daily. If you’re Taiwanese and after some legit, fresh taro/sweet potato or yam QQ balls with grass jelly and shaved grass jelly- THIS IS IT.
Forget about meet freshman black ball is so good.

Pearls are cooked well, not too chewy but also not over cooked. Usually I hate red bean in dessert places as most places use gross premade canned or packaged stuff but their red bean was good! Not too sweet which is so important.
The numerous kinds of QQs in their signature one is great! I loved it w the shaved grass jelly ice option so so yummy just like in taiwan!
Just love the signature one here so much, please come open a black ball in Brisbane we desperately need a good Taiwanese dessert shop.

Grass jelly milk tea was also yummmm, flavour of the tea was roasted and strong just like how I like it. Cannot fault this place

The presentation of the drink received was very different to the one advertised on the menu. Not only was there barely any mini balls and red bean, but the overwhelming amount of sago was also undercooked. The service was also pretty poor.

Drink was definitely not worth $8.50 and will not be coming again.

Finally got to try the milk tea hotpot. Decent amount for 2 persons with generous toppings. Wish they came with small candle as advertised so it kept the "broth" warm.
