Black Cockatoo Cottages

Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding. It was the most beautiful place to be. Nice and relaxing before the big day. The views are stunning and the accommodation is clean and fresh with very luxurious amenities. I couldn't recommend it enough

We had an amazing stay at Black Cockatoo Cottages! The place was spotlessly clean, and the host was incredibly friendly. It's conveniently located near Wilsons Prom walks and tracks, and the view overlooking Corner Inlet is simply stunning, especially at sunrise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return soon!

I couldn't say how much I love this room, and I adore the view a lot. We have a lovely dinner together there. Even though the rain was pouring and was so windy. We were warm and safe inside. I didn't want to get the floor dirty with my shoes, so I always wore socks.

It will be lovely if the host provides a slipper to wear insight so I don’t need to wear socks all the time hehe. The host also provides an electric blanket to keep you warm all night. If you want to have some more choice with the dinner, I’d recommend bringing some food with you to cook because you might need to drive 30’ away to come to the restaurant. And most of them close at 8 pm.everything is lovely. We hope we can come back with our parents.

Absolutely the best place to stay. Amazing views. Everything you could want in the cottages. Very comfy and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend it.

Stayed at Black Cockatoo Cottages over the winter period. Such a fantastic location just outside the wilson prom national park and breath-taking views. The cottage itself is beautifully set and has everything you need. Easy check-in process. Owners were very kind and easy to get in touch with. Will be sure to return again.

You cannot beat this location and view. Views overlooking Wilsons prom, dairy cows in the distance, so many birds. The sunset was gorgeous and slept with the blinds open to catch the sunrise too. We stayed in the studio which is the last one so doesn't have anyone walking past. The studio has every comfort- exactly what we needed after hiking in the prom all day. Had Pizza for dinner and Coffee the next morning in Yanakie (5min drive). Checkin and out was flexible and easy. Will definitely be going back there.

A great spot just before Wilson's Prom. The cabins are beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. You can watch the sunrise from bed. We also appreciated the added touches to the room - great tea selection, extra condiments, sweet bikkies and a chocolate bar. I'd recommend stopping in at Foster to stock up on local goodies to eat at the cabins.

Amazing view, the cottage is modern and super clean, it is well insulated, and communication with host was easy. Nothing wrong to say about this place!

We had a fantastic time staying at Black Cockatoo Cottages in August 2022. The hosts were very quick to respond and help us sort out accommodation last minute. They were also very kind and fun people to chat to and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cottages were clean and tidy and we were super impressed by how kitted out the kitchen was. The cottages also had a beautiful view and you can see the rising sun over the Prom in the morning. 100% recommend. We can’t wait to come back!

It has been about 5 months since our stay here and we still talk about it. The cabins are beautiful and clean, and very private. You feel totally lost in your own little paradise, complete with a stunning view. The peace and disconnection we felt here has remained with us, if you need a getaway to unplug from life and back into some seriously good well-being restoration, this is the place to do it. Like I said, we still reminisce about our wonderfully holistic vacation here.

Lovely view out the window! The person running the place was a great help with our need to move the date because of lock downs.

Amazing location and spectacular view! The cottage is very spacious and neat. The kitchen has everything you need and very clean. The host provided wine and chocolates for free during Christmas. Thanks for the generosity. Highly recommended!

Loved the location of this place! Sandesh & Nandini are the perfect hosts! Extremely clean, neat and spacious apartments and ideal location to get to Wilson's Prom. Beautiful view right from the bed!

My Wife & I stayed here & we will be back, the studio cottage is beautiful & well furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, laundry & bathroom!
Wilson Prom is nearby, but the studio is also private & secluded allowing you a chance to be surrounded by the serenity of nature & take in spectacular views from your front windows of the studio! Don’t miss the sunrises or sunsets they are sublime!

Beautiful location! We stayed in the studio, and had a fantastic view over the water and surrounding fields. Really close to Wilson Prom! Sandesh was very helpful and gave us lots of tips regarding hiking trails in the park.
The studio was bigger than expected, and had everything we needed with a full kitchen and washing machine. Would definitely recommend!

This is a perfect location if you are planning to do hikes in Wilson prom. Just 5min to the park.

Very Unwelcoming.
Im writing this review on behalf of very close friends that stayed there early January 2020. If you are planning on catching up with friends whilst visiting the Prom "DON'T stay here"! The room itself was nice and spacious. Unfortunately the owners were very unaccommodating and racist. Our Iranian friends asked if traveling companions staying in Foster could come and visit, to which they replied "No visitors allowed". They asked again the next day clarifying that friends were visiting not staying. The staff made a point of sending them an email stating it was hotel policy that "No Visitors" were to be had on the premises. Honestly never heard of this and everyone I've spoken to has never has this issue. It made us all feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable and I guarantee we will never stay there. Very disappointed in the attitude.
