The meal from reception to dessert was amazing. I'm very critical, but I could not fault it.
Liam gave us an overview of the truffles found at the farm and later took us out with his dogs, where they found truffles, which he dug up to show us.

It doesn’t surprise me to see so many 5 star reviews. My wife and I went today with her folks for the truffle hunt experience and afternoon grazing platter, and to say that we had a fabulous experience and enjoyed a sensational culinary indulgence would be an understatement. The hosts and all the staff were super attentive and couldn’t do enough to please. This review is given against the background of my wife being a coeliac and needing a strict GF diet, which was no problem. We are already talking about a return visit. Without any hesitation, this is very strongly recommended.

What an awesome day. Finding truffle with thier amazing dog. And the food was amazing. Planing another trip. Great experience. Will definitely recommend Black cat and I will be back. Loved it, also great staff which ad to the experience.

I was gifted a summer truffle hunt experience and I am ready to start gifting these to everyone myself.

The day was an amazing experience and we managed to dig up a massive 446g summer truffle, much to everyone's delight. Then the food afterwards was a whole amazing experience itself. Tom and Kristen were amazing hosts and made sure everyone felt included and took us on a whole truffle growing, hunting and eating journey.

The stars of the day Lottie and Winston made sure we felt welcome as soon as we arrived before their truffle hunting job began.

10/10 we would love to come back and do the winter truffle hunt so we may be back once it cools down!

The best experience for those who love truffle! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the hunt, and then the beautiful lunch that we shared afterwards. Lovely, experienced and knowledgable owners who go out of their way to ensure you have a great day. Walked out with some delicious truffle aioli and a small amount of truffle for a very fair price. Couldn’t have asked for anything more from a Saturday afternoon!

Visited Black Cat Truffles a few weeks back on a crisp Saturday morning. What a great time we had in an absolutely beautiful setting!
Tom and Kristen and all of their team of staff were wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. It really made for an enjoyable and relaxing time. Tom was very knowledgeable about all things regarding growing truffles and the science behind this. And the gorgeous Lottie was a superstar at locating those truffles on our tour.
The degustation sample afterwards far exceeded our expectations! The food was just superb!
I would highly recommend treating yourself to this experience as something different, even if you aren’t obsessed with truffles, or it would be a great gift. Very good value also. We hope to return!

Owners are very gracious hosts. A tad too crowded to be fully enjoyed. Maybe partially the owners' fault. Some guests don't know how to spread out so others can see what's happening. Instead, they will crowd over and hover over the dog and the owner, and I were better off meandering elsewhere. You're basically paying for the food. Food is great. But after the 2nd, or 3rd truffle infused set, not much. Overall, still a great experience.

My husband and I did their winter truffle hunt and we throughly enjoyed the experience of finding the truffles, well their dog Lottie did the finding part, we had a great time digging them out lol and learning about truffles and their growing conditions. Tom was very kind enough to answer all of our questions and have a chat with us about how he came to be a truffle farmer. And of course I cannot forget the 5 course truffle degustation that we had afterwards, it was a merticlous thought out menu and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Kirsten & Tom for sharing your property and experiences growing truffles with us, you are both such lovely people and we had such a lovely day.

Update 8/9/22: I have just received a special delivery of truffle infused products and recipes with one precious truffle for a nice dish or two! Enough to satisfy any truffle enthusiast to enjoy every day. The package was well packed, with love and received with many thanks. I opened the salt, butter, aioli and mustard to try. I wonder if I can use them all in a sammich?
Am looking forward to trying some of the recipes on the weekend to use the fresh truffle. Now I can enjoy the taste of Black Cat truffles until their summer harvest!

We went to the arvo tour session last Saturday which was fully booked. Kristen was a gracious host and Tom gave us an engaging informative truffle tour of the grounds after making us all some delicious wood fired pizzas (bit of a mission for a full house!)
Lottie found some truffle gold while Winston tagged along for the laughs (he is a little selective in his efforts to find truffle)
Black Cat Truffles was most excellent, and I would honestly say you can NEVER have enough truffle infused food! I was picking it off the pizza and eating it on its own.
Definitely check out their summer sessions which are sure to be a treat. Parking and amenities on site

A beautiful spot and absolutely delicious pizzas! We had the potato, pancetta and truffle pizza and it was truly divine - the perfect combination. The hot chips with truffle aioli were just as delicious. We loved walking around the garden too and meeting the very cute alpacas. Can’t wait to head back for more truffle deliciousness!

We had an amazing day at Black Cat Truffles! Kristen & Tom couldn't have been more welcoming. The truffle hunt was great fun with Lottie and Tom. Tom was a wealth of knowledge and was only too happy to answer our questions.
Lunch was amazing - such great food and bubbles. Can't recommend this experience highly enough. We'll definitely be booking in again next truffle season.

Wonderful experience and tasty truffles to try. If you are interested in what makes truffles so prized I definitely recommend the Truffle Hunting ($150pp) experience conducted by Tom. We had Lottie the truffle dog for our group and she found a big 259g truffle right off the bat. Our haul was very good I reckon for end of the season.

Tasting menu was superb and we had to have the pizza with shaved truffles on it. We even brought our dog Bowie the Corgi to have a little play with Winston, Lottie and the others. Our hosts made the overall experience very enjoyable.

My mum bought me the truffle hunt experience as a birthday gift and we loved it! Our guide, Tom was knowledgeable about all things truffle hunting and we found plenty of black truffles!

Kristen and the kitchen provided an amazing lunch with generous amounts of truffle for each of the 4 courses. The team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day.

We absolutely loved the truffle hunt experience, it was so fun and interesting watching gorgeous Lottie hunt for truffles and helping dig them up. The food was spectacular, so delicious and so much truffle! We're already planning our next trip back.
