(POST REPLY EDIT AT BOTTOM (dunno why there's no reply option Google).

Was trying to contact someone to see if replacement components are available, as I found a steam mop with a broken little solenoid pump that I was hoping to get a replacement for.

There's nothing on the Bissell site, doesn't seem to be a way to get them from the site of the company who makes the actual component, and doesn't seem to be anywhere to get them besides shonky ones off Aliexpress and such.

Did attempt the phone support, but the person I spoke to just offended to escalate my complaint for whatever reason. I guess I said it was broken, so she assumed I was just ringing to complain? (I guess I technically kind of am now, but still.). I said I just found the thing tossed out, I don't have sales records or whatever. It's just the script they give them to say, I guess, which doesn't give me much hope of actually getting the components when the support staff is trained to do things that very specific way.

There doesn't seem to be an email contact or anything that might be helpful with getting replacement bits either, so yeah. It either goes to landfill or I try some shonky reseller, unfortunately. Which is quite disappointing.

EDIT: Thanks for the clarification at least, that's appreciated. Bumped up to 2 stars for that.

There's no warranty, I'm aware. Someone else already threw it out, so I gathered as much.

Undoing a couple screws and pushing some little plugs on isn't necessarily the hardest thing though. Considering only 1% of people would probably actually ever do it, I wouldn't think it'd be that detrimental to supply something like that, and then make a profit still from repairing the other 99% of customer's products.

Would happily pay you for the manufacture supplied part as I'm qualified to do it myself, but it is what it is, I suppose.

I asked for an exchange or refund of the Stain Eraser Turbo because it wasn't working properly. I was told by customer service that I was outside the refund time frame of 14 days because I called Bissell Australia which is where I purchased the product online on the 13th day from purchase, however they were closed over the Christmas break and didn't reopen until the 2nd January. I was told I should have called the store directly as it was open and that there was nothing they could do even though they could see that I made the request within 14 days. I will never ever buy from this website again, their customer service is appalling.

I purchased a big green carpet cleaning machine. Cost me a bomb and burnt out motor after very few uses.
I tried to explain that there must be a fault or is this a recall because I didn't use it during covid and the machine is obviously very clean and not banged up.

Would not look at it unless you pay a fee then won't repair unless you accept the quote. Grrr

Customer service non existent. No compassion no matter how you try to approach. Customer support is in overseas so that's zero support.

I suggest to purchase a different brand which possibly could have a more realistic, supportive solution with just a bit of compassion for the consumer whom spent many dollars on the product they manufactured.

I've been trying to get I touch with you regarding my faulty bissell (still under warranty) for over a month now. I've submitted various online submissions and called, but nobody bothered to reply or pickup the phone calls. VERY DISSAPOINTING.

Audrey is terrible to deal with.
Worse products on the market. Worse than the products is their Australian branch. I can't walk for days after pushing my mop/vac. This is the 3rd one. Then they send a part after 3 months of asking it the degrade me. Absolutely rubbish products with even worse customer service. Please spend a bit more and buy a decent brand.

Although the website showed the part I needed as out of stock, I finally reached out and they managed to supply me with the part required.
Friendly and easy to deal with.
Accept cash but must be the exact amount ️

Great carpet cleaner. TERRIBLE after sales. I bought the bissell power clean max carpet shampoo after 2 uses (and only two months of owning the product). The belt failed (I appreciate this is a non warranty item but I would have expected it to last longer.

Manual was hopeless doesn’t list the replacement model number, phoned support who gave me a part number for what I needed. I ordered this 2 weeks later the belt arrives and it’s completely the wrong size. Don’t buy Bissell the cleaners are great but when a belt goes or you need support there hopeless.

Do not buy from this company. We purchased 2 vacuum cleaners, both ceased to work within 6 months of purchase. 12 months later after numerous phone calls and emails to Bissell from my staff I called and requested to speak to a manager. After providing the incident number, Bissell supervisor "Karen" requested I provide all of the information again - I declined. "Karen" then advised our warranties were void but they would honour a 30% discount on our next purchase - I declined and said we would not be spending any more money with this company. No stars from us but of course you cannot post unless you give at least one star.

Have tried 5 times to contact Bissell directly regarding my 8 month old, barely used Edge Icon stick vac no longer turning on. Rang the phone line and navigated some of the worst customer service ever experienced before finally being told they would email me a form to fill out. That never arrived. Tried submitting a claim online, haven’t heard anything since. Even messaged their page on FB to be told that they would remind their customer service team to contact me. It’s been a week and nothing.

This stick vac worked fine at the beginning but being a brand new house that I’m rarely even living in, it hasn’t had a hard life. Now it just doesn’t turn on claiming there is a blockage when there isn’t. It’s probably a simple fix but I’ll never know because their customer service as absolutely lacking. Will never purchase from Bissell again and will attempt to get their attention via consumer affairs instead.

Last option is to drive to Springvale and throw the vacuum through their front window I guess.

Purchased the pro-heat 2x revolution less than 12 months ago. Machine works great, however after sales support is terrible.

The brush roll assembly has disintegrated and I understand this isn’t covered under warranty, however I have been told that there are no replacement parts in stock and won’t be until January 2023. I believe this is unacceptable for a machine that is less than 12 months old.

Customer service can only read from a script and I was hung up on twice when they tried to place me on hold.

Have had nothing but trouble with my carpet cleaner but bissell won't honour the warrantee because the box was damaged at purchase.

I had the best experience at Bissell headquarters in Mulgrave! I had a pet stain eraser portable carpet cleaner which would just not charge, I rang the 1300 number and was advised that the problem is with the battery. So I travelled all the way out to Mulgrave thinking maybe I can get it fixed. Unfortunately it couldn’t. The lovely “Kylie” greeted me at the door and took it out the back for a quick look see from a technician but came out with the news it couldn’t b fixed. She then proceeded to tell me she was going to give me a new one, to which I replied “OMG Really”, I love you. If Kylie’s boss is reading this you should give her a pay rise! She was AWESOME I can’t thank you enough! You guys have awesome products and your customer service is 10 stars! Again Thanku so much, I’m truly grateful

Well i wouldn't worry if you didn't get your vacuum if you live in Victoria, as they have no one here to fix/repair them anyway, just as well throw your money up in the air.very disappointed in this company, will not be shopping Bissell again.

Customer service of this company is absolutely shocking. I sent 3 emails to try and order a replacement part. The response gave me links to their site that didn't have the part on it. Other response emails were to try and get me to send them the machine trying to charge me $$$ for servicing. All I want is a small plastic piece I can replace on the machine. Its like the people there dont even read the emails I sent. Tried calling the customer "doesnt" care and was on hold several times and the phone just keeps hanging up on me without warning.
Dont waste your time with this company. They dont care!
The customer service team are not even in Australia. They are located in Panama. So unable to help even if they wanted

It's been 3 weeks later after writing this review and the message from Bissell saying they will contact me and NOTHING! No email, no phone call and they have my details. So many times I have seen them saying they will have a customer service from their head office contact us, but I doubt they have done it to anyone. Really bad service

Very disappointing. I contacted bissell twice as I 'was' wanting to buy a carpet washing machine and ADDITIONAL cleaning formula but 1.they're out of stock 2.they have no idea when the formula will be available and 3. I would have to pay additional shipping for the formula if and when it arrives. Why would I pay hundreds of dollars for a machine when there is uncertainty about getting formula for it and having to pay additional shipping for their failings?

Purchased the excellent Bissell machine at The Good Guys Frankston store I, went back in to find out how to remove the handle, and I was lucky enough to bump into the Bissell Rep Christina, who was very professional and happy to help! She took apart the store machine to show me, she was quite a lovely young lady, and I was very happy. Thank you Christina!

Bissell is an absolute joke. They took my money for spare parts to get machine working but never sent them. Every time I call I get told its another departments fault. I have emailed about 10 times and no one ever returns emails or calls. Shame on you Bissell, you take money for your products but cannot be bothered with customer support.
