If you’re a vegan or vegetarian DONT GO HERE THEY WILL SERVE YOU A MEAT BAGEL AND THEN BLAME YOU FOR NOT CHECKING THE BAGEL BEFORE YOU LEFT THE STORE

I have ordered twice from here and both times there has been a issue with my order.last time I ordered I received dairy cream cheese when I payed for vegan resulting in not being able to eat the bagel. Other than that the store is wonderful

Wow just wow! I have been coming to both locations for a while now and it never disappoints! Trying a new bagel each week or the monthly special is such an experience in itself. And the customer service is always great. 10/10

Amazing service, amazing food, I travel 30mins just for one of there amazing bagels and quality coffee, at least once or twice a month. Keep it up!

Extremely tough, dry and strange taste. Everything bagel had no onion or garlic as per advertised on Instagram. So much better last time I tried during lockdown.

Bagels are SO incredibly dry like it’s been frozen for a long time. Ordered the Park Avenue and the filling was so bland and lacking in any depth in flavours. It is a miserable bagel. Bronx was an unimpressive patty. There are definitely better, fresher bagels in Richmond

Not to mention, the owner was really rude, evident from the replies they write to the honest reviews here. The bagels do taste like the stale bagels you get from supermarkets and I would totally give it a miss

The best place to get bagels! Very popular and for obvious reasons. Staff here lovely and the food here just as good. The perfect cafe to go on a Sunday, or any other day of the week! Will definitely be back.

Popular place for coffee and bagels, little on the pricey side.

Tried many of the bagels but always found the Reuben to be the best despite popularity of the philly cheese.

These are bread rolls with a hole in them, they aren't bagels. If you are going to brand yourself so heavily as 'New York bagels', you gotta do a lot better.

Edit in response to owner: you don't make it clear at all that you use bread rolls. Put that information on your website please. Currently it says "all our food is made in-house by our team of dedicated chefs". Except of course for the most important bit. If I buy a bag of bagels from you, which part of that is made in house?

Last day in Melbourne we thought we would try a bagel from Bissel B before we made our way home and we were not disappointed, so much so the contemplation of seconds and disappointment of not trying one earlier began.
We need one of these in Canberra. Thank you for the great experience!

Judging by the number of customers I'm not alone in thinking the food is great.

Bleeker St bagel was delicious and well prepared. Cheesecake cookie was very underwhelming (seemed over cooked and just tasted like a choc-chip) so not worth $5 (via uber eats).

Lovely vegetarian bagel. Not super special to make it 5 stars but solid value and would go again.

So disappointed. We purchased 2 packets of bagels, one lot of blueberry with 3 days left on the use by date and the other plain with 4 days left on the use by. All were stale and dry from day one. My husband contacted Bissel about it and received such poor customer service. They put it back on us saying to choose less well cooked (the darker coloured ones) next time and they could help us pick out ones cooked to our liking. All the bagels we had were all pale and not overcooked. They were just stale, dry and horrible. Never going back. Would NOT recommend.

OK so just had my first bagel at Bissel B. OMG where have you been all my life!
I used to eat Five And Dime, no bad, then moved to Jungle Juice, still pretty good. But Bissel B you have stole my bagel shaped heart. I want to court you, take you to the movies and whisper sweet nothings in your cute lil bagel ear. Please never leave me!

I wish I'd read the reviews first. Like other people have said they aren't bagels. I appreciate that staff are saying they don't claim to make NYC style bagels, but what kind of bagels are they supposed to be? They were so bland and just like regular dough. The "everything" bagel had no seasoning or real flavour, I'm not sure why they call it that. I'm sure their fillings are delicious (I just had mine with cream cheese) for those of you that like a simple bagel, this is not the place for you.

Quick and friendly service, coffees were done quickly and tasted perfect.i got the wall street bagel and it was the best bagel i've ever had.defs will be a regular

Loved this place during lockdown & love it now. Sometimes the line takes forever though, and the prices are a littttle high for bagels. But seriously the best ones I’ve found in Melbourne CBD. If you get a chance - try the Lamington too!
