Biryani King reviews
53Biryani king - a restaurant yearning too soon to earn a too much. The greed to become a fine dine restaurant. At first when the restaurant started a decent chicken biryani costed 13 $. Now the same biryani in a span of 6 months have been increased to 18$. The priciest biryani on the menu is freakin 25$! Wth, are they serving biryani on a gold plate? Mind u, A normal similar kind of restaurant in terms of ambience and service would be serving at 14$ tops. Only goto this place if you have a few spare cash to spend it out.the service too, is quite ordinary - nobody is checked who has come first and who has been served. A person at the far end of the line was asked to sit and given a table prior to us and food served was cold. The food's taste is decent but certainly not worth your time and wallet. Specially at a place like docks, please look further n dnt ever look back at this over the top, super greedy restaurant.
Wine not chilled, ‘mild’ dishes too hot for most, staff didn’t have a clue about their own food - and one of our party with food poisoning after. Never again! Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to.
Hi order a food for the party, the order was not exactly what i ordered, and i had a bad experience with this resturent
40+ varieties of biryani.loved it
my favourites:
Gutti vankay biryani
ulavacharu chicken biryani
avakay biryani
gongura biryani
fish 65 biryani
fry piece biryani
The best biryani ever, this is the best restaurant known for their biryanis and curries. If you are in geelong must try.
This place was soo good. Food was very delicious. The staff was really nice. The front staffs were very friendly. I would most recommend getting the chicken 65 biryani.
We have got a Takeaway from this place.
Ordered - chicken 65 as starter
Kareveypaku biryani
And chicken fry piece biryani
Starter was bad. Tasted like foul chicken
Both biryanis looked and tasted similar very oily also under seasoned
We had lots of expectations but it didn't match to my excitement
Would not recommend the place unfortunately
Awful service. Wouldn’t come back purely because of how bad the service is. Lady at the front needs to work on her attitude, specifically towards customers who aren’t from her country. Food was really good, but wouldn’t come back for it considering how bad her service and attitude (in particular) was.
Me and my family visited this place tonight and the food was terrible, very dry. No taste at all. The lady who served at the place was not pleasant and there was a German team who were there and they were not getting any help from this lady and we had to help them. Not recommended.
Very delicious food must recommend. Nice maintenance and service. Most prefer food Like Chilli Panner, Panner biryani, Goat Biryani.lovely.
The food was amazing and very authentic. One of the best biryani in Melbourne, hands down. The variety they have is immense.
Placed a pick up order on doordash and after driving for 30 mins and calling the store, they state that the kitchen is closed. Why keep it open on doordash and accept the order?
Delicious Food! Ahh highly recommend to visit once.
What I most like is Chicken Lollipop (Starters).
Chicken 65 was also WOW. And that yellow lassi was also yum.
Best biryani. Do order from them time to time. Went on firelight fest and the quality was not par and waited for almost 1.5 hrs. I hope they plan ahead for such occasions. Nonetheless I will keep ordering biryanis from them.

Went back again the food quality was not that great. I guess the only thing good here is dum biryani. Chicken tikka biryani was like fried rice and chicken had an after taste. I couldn’t eat the chicken. Too much oil in chilly paneer. Quality is degrading. Stomach upset the next day. Won’t be back again.
One of the best Biryani (veg) I have tasted in Melbourne in recent times. Spacious and decent ambience. Tasty food. You have waiting space for people who order take away. I liked the unique veg Brinjal Biryani.
This place is indeed a paradise for Biriyani lovers since they have too many varieties of biriyani.however some of the biriyani (especially in veg category) are just in menu for sake of it and doesn't have the essence of biriyani in it.the veg category could be better.overall this is a good place to dine in and one good thing to note that the quantity of biriyani is actually too much that almost 2 people can share.
Chicken Manchuria, dragon chicken nd andhra fry piece biryani, mughali chicken biryani my favourite food every time I want to order same food me exactly the same taste. I love it.
One of the best food joints out in Docklands. During my 5 day stay at Melbourne, I went back to them for at least 3 days. The staff were friendly, the chefs made delicious food and the place was lively - what else can one complain about?
Located along the water front, this place caters some of the best south indian delicacies. So much of choice on the menu and serves good quantity. Loved the biryani, a must try at this must visit place. Will be back at Biryani King.
The best Indian restaurant in Melbourne, the biryani tekka chicken was great! Good prices, awesome views on the river. I highly recommend the restaurant for the middle eastern people as me who loves to eat rice!
