Birrarung Marr Playground reviews
16A fantastic playground with plenty of shade. This place offers little toddlers. Lots to do including a sand pit, many slides swings as well as rope activities. I would say this place is perfect for kids from the age of about 2 till 7 A great little playground in the middle of the city
Pretty big playground which was a hit for the younger kids. No larger swings for the larger kids though but there are two toddler swings. Good range of slides (4) and some decent space to run and hide around the place so we'll worth a look and release of energy for the kids if you're nearby
Very cool park! I have an 8 year old daughter and a 3 year old daughter.
The two had a lot of fun!
Went to the childrens play area tucked in behind Federation Square for the first time. Our grandson had a great time there. Plenty to play on or climb on and a big sand pit as well. Will definitely go back.
Playground located in artplay vicinity.
Slides, swings, bridge for slides, small climbing, tables to have food, good walking trail from fedration square. On the way to MCG.
Reachable by tram on swanston Street. Near finder street station. Can have fun on yarra river.public toilet available
Great playground in the heart of the city. With good public toilets and changing rooms in the museum nearby too. Definitely a pit stop for any family with toddlers for them to run around. There's a cute little elephant to spot too.
A nice little hidden playground although sometimes, if your the first ones here in the morning there can be a bit of rubbish (bottles of beer etc) so I end up just cleaning it up for a few minutes.
Lovely playground next to the Federation square. Plenty of equipments including swings, slides, rope climbing, hammocks and sand pit. It's very close to the scenic princes walk. All in all, a great place which kids won't wanna get out of.
Great playground with modern equipment, sandpit and seating area. Good place to let the kids release a bit of energy after an afternoon in the city.
Great little playground.
And most recently the addition of the #UooUoo called #Mango, one of the 100 UooUoo's placed around Melbourne in January 2021 to raise funds for the Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital. What a great city to live in.
Looking for a place to eat fish and chips while the kids played. This place is convenient beong so close to Flinders Station and all.
Sadly the birds here are so aggressive they'll swoop and take the food from your hands as you are about to eat it. This scared the kids and meant we spent a stupid amount of time 'defending' the party snacks we wanted to leave spread on the table.
Also, an unfortunate design in the 'fort' had several of our kids fall over in the same place. Not a big deal really, but enough that we're not likely to make use of this park again.
If your in the city and kids are Roudy then just a short walk along the river from founders street station is this hidden park. It's nothing super special but it is a great spot to run out some Silly's.
Wonderful expansive and open play spaces in a natural setting, and yet only a couple of hundred meters from Flinders St Station. The kids love it - especially rolling down the big grassy hill bordering the playground, and climbing on and among the huge boulders. The hammock swing and slides are some other highlights.
Great place for kids to burn their energy then stroll along the bank of the Yarra River and enjoy a cup of coffee or ice-cream cone!
Good place for young kids to burn off energy after a day in the city. Plenty of shade, benches for the adults to relax, a water fountain/bottle refill station, and close to public toilets.
Playground close to the ArtPlay center. It has quite a few things to jump around on as well as shade.
