55Lovely playground great for little ones to bigger kids. Great sandpit, swings, lots of slides, even a small rock climbing wall. There are sculptures and nature features, lots of shade and close walk to riverside restaurants and cafes.
It is a place to have a your place of peace within the city and next to the river. Love the walk along the river mixed with wonderful trees and other natural look creations.
I love this park. There are many walking and biking trails for all to enjoy, with lush greenery, plants and trees beside them. Provides good views of the city, Yarra River and sporting district and there is also a playground.
This is a place for all type of people, e.g. Visitors, tourists, kids, adults.all can find something to do in such Relax place.
A very nice and diversified public space, flanked by the Yarra River on one side. Very interesting place.
We had a good walk along this path at this park, it was a bit wet in places and just on sunset so a little dark in places.
Not sure about the lighting and the placement of the kids area behind the heritage building but overall a pleasant area.
Awesome for a quiet day and a amazing city skyline and sunset view, would recommend sitting on the green hill on the right side of the bridge in the photo.
The moomba festival was a huge event but with repeated attractions. Food options were not as diverse and also repeated on both side of the river banks.
We went for the momba festival. The festival was awsome for a family gathering. Apart from the festival, the park beside the yarra river is very beautiful.
A great place for family, love ones and friends to hang out during the Moomba Festival. Especially when the weather is warm.
One of my favourite places in Melbourne city. A quiet area away from the hustle of the city centre & Flinders street station.
Find a shaded bench by the Yarra & have a refreshing afternoon nap; or get a delicious iced chocolate to enjoy with the views at the top of the hill.
I had a quick look around the area just to see what it was like. Quite a large open space by the river side. It also had a small hill where you could look out over the river. The most interesting thing here was the Angel sculpture. Colourful and full of eyes, the sculpture is something to behold.
The area itself was very clean and looks like it connects to Rod Laver Arena. The paths were tidy and quite nice to walk on since most of it was under the shade of trees growing on the banks.
Worth a stop if you wanted a place to relax for a bit as it didn't seem as busy as the other parks.
Great place to go for a walk and sit along the Yarra River. You can also charge your phone for free at the charging location which uses solar panels to source the electricity.
There are few cities in the world that have as versatile and beautiful a space as this in the heart of their CBDs. Open, accessible, and host to all sorts of events - love it
Foodtrucks everywhere! Asian style this time. Apparently during Aussie winter the EU foods come put. Great set up with lots of foods, live music, bar style stalls and well, the ambiance is definetely there. Even the Chinese Dragons were there to have a walk around. Must do in Nov when visiting Melbourne!
Nice walk along the banks of yara river. Can watch the canoes and boats in the river. Also can get ferry to williamstown from there.
Lovely Riverside Park, perfect for a radiant day walk or night jug of wine and sustaining the ducks. Splendid nourishment celebrations are facilitated here normally which highlight global cooking. Check online ahead of time, an excellent park of the city.
Nice place for any events happening in Melbourne that uses this venue. Only problem is when it is raining during an event, the road surface gets muddy and the sandy area is a bit worse just like on the last day of White Night. Otherwise a very vibrant and open area for any events. Food trucks and stalls that comes here on events are usually of great selection.
Always great. I wish we knew that the liberty bells only rang 3 tines a day for an hour at I think 12: 30 and then around 6ish for an hour.
