Birches Early Learning Centre - Childcare Centre

As a new family in Officer and starting childcare during this pandemic I honestly could not be happier with Birches. From the way the staff have approached wearing a mask upon entering the centre in a non invasive way still makes little chloe feel safe. The approaches the owners and staff have taken to making sure we're all safe could not be more appreciated. I'm also really at ease and comforted consider my anxiety with all the regular communication coming home every week it's really put me and hubby at ease knowing she is in great hands.

A child care centre with unrivalled charm and incredibly attentive and accommodating educators. The staff and centre director are all very kind and make it easy for children to settle quickly here. They are also very open and honest with their communication, which is critical in a time like this. If you're considering a centre in the area, I highly recommend you book a tour and experience Birches for yourself.

A massive thank you to the Birches team. Since this crazy epidemic all started the communication with us families has been incredible. The introduction of new hygiene practices and new rules for pick up and drop off have made the decision to leave my boys there an easy one. A special thank you to all the incredible staff who are risking their own health and safety to look after our little ones. A beautiful daycare with some country charm. From when we walked in the door with Brianna/Mini we’ve felt at peace knowing staff there have a high level of care and work well as a team and with us parents. As a parent of two Special Needs children we took the step to change daycares and we should of done it sooner. We love sending Bri there and not only are the staff dedicated to the kids but they also care about the families. We haven’t had to worry once about Brianna or how she’s coping. The staff have her special needs in the front of their mind and we’ve complete trust and faith in Judy and her team. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

5 stars isnt enough for the center. They have been supportive and welcoming from the first point of contact and has continued this genuine practice since enrolment. A center is only as good as its management, and this is proven with the amazing director and staff in the rooms. They continue to go above and beyond. These guys KNOW there stuff!

Fantastic staff in the Nursery Room! We're kept up to date via the storey park app and a communication book. Our daughter had a rocky start while teething through orientation but the staff were persistent and caring and they helped her settle in well.

I couldn't be happier with how warm and inviting Birches have been since the very first time we walked through the building. ALL of the teachers and staff are amazing. I never thought I would be so comfortable leaving my daughter but they definately made it easy.
It is just lovely walking in as everyone has a smile on their face and and no one is ever too busy to stop and say hi.

Our daughter Sophie has been at Birches a few months now and couldnt be happier. From the moment we had met Judy and had a little tour of the centre, i instantly felt at ease and knew I was going to enrol our little Sophie in at Birches. I had discovered this centre the Wed night while i was in bed, took a tour the Thursday morning and by Thursday afternoon had given the centre we had Sophie in at the time notice that i was ceasing her enrolment. She had only been in daycare around 5 months at that stage and wasnt 100% with the centre she was at but was reluctant to move her knowing the struggles we had with her starting at daycare initially.
Birches felt warm, inviting and so homely and I just knew Sophie would love it there. Judy is amazing, so warm and friendly and every one of the girls are just so wonderful with the kids. My husband and I very much look forward to our updates in the Story Park app to see what fun activities the kiddies have been up to that day. Sophie always looks so happy and all the kids seem to be getting along so well. Naturally she comes home tired after a long day of fun and learning but much happier than she did coming home from the last centre she was at.
I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful centre and the team and am so glad we made the move to Birches.

Transitions from one centre to another is never easy especially if your child has major seperation anxiety. After only a couple days of starting at the centre our drop offs went from full blown tantrums and screaming to not wanting to leave. This can only be a testament to the unconditional support and love displayed by you and your wonderful team of educators, they are warm and loving without being fake, they are genuinely interested in the likes and dislikes of my son and are prepared to help him develop and meet his milestones. I say well done and keep up the great work! It's definitely made life a lot easier for us. Ps loving the storypark posts!

I just want to say very big thank you to you and your team, as a first time mum I was having mummy guilt about going back to fulltime work, you and your team have made this transition so smooth and I can not thank you enough. I really feel my baby is safe and secure and is her second home. I am also so impressed with the food that you have been serving her, such a variety of fresh foods and no refined sugars. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
