The Indonesian food menu is served in quite filling portions. Authentic Indonesian taste. I ordered beef soup. The texture of the meat is tender. The sauce is light but strong.
The atmosphere is calm, clean even though the space is not too big, the layout here is quite comfortable.

Great food, we liked it a lot.
The only downside for me is the portion is not comparable to the price, would be better with bigger potion.

Cozy Indonesian food with perfect flavours and attention to detail.

Probably the best matabak I’ve ever had with the perfect balance of pastry and filling. Along with the Ayam Pedas are the must trys at Bintang Indo!

10/10 Will be back!

First tried Bintang Indo Cuisine during lockdown. Loved their food, but never got the chance to visit the restaurant. Finally, I recently visited the restaurant in Bayswater.

Extensive menu options, however, for me personally, the taste was slightly hit and miss.

* The lontong cap gomeh is not as good as the first time I tried a couple of years ago.

* The perkedel and risoles are alright, but I wouldn't order them again.

* The bakso goreng is the highlight for me, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.

* The krecek and gudeg are quite good.

When you're in the area, you should try if you miss Indonesian food.

Attractive decoration, decent foods, friendly staffs. I tried the Nasi Goreng with battered chicken and fried beef. They got choice for quail too.

Homesick for ayam penyet, gudeg or rawon? Look no further, this new eatery has an impressive menu of Indon favs across sides, rice, noodles, rice cakes and desserts. I mean, just the selection of potent sambal and sauces (8!) will leave you reeling.

Give this newbie a try - you'll be hooked!

I recently visited this Indonesian restaurant and was blown away by the fantastic food and service. The food was absolutely delicious, with a range of flavorful dishes that were both authentic and innovative. I especially enjoyed the nasi penyet which had the perfect blend of spices and seasonings. The service was also excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who were always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indonesian food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I cannot wait to return and try more of their incredible dishes

Tried their nasi gudeg and was pleasantly surprised with the taste! It tastes very authentic and very nice!
The place is also nicely decorated and the service is good.

Food great but Menu a bit chaotic! Not usual 3 course style but if you deal with ordering separate meals instead of Entries mains etc then go!

The restaurant is modern with nice ambience and a great decor. If you are a food lover, you might be disappointed. My order, bakso noodle dish came out fast but was below par not to mention pricey. The meat balls were hard as if it wasn't cooked through. The noodles portion was tiny and the soup had no flavour. It was rather a disappointing dish. The restaurant wants you to order via it's online service and doesn't take cash (it is written on the glass windows) so make sure you take your wallet and credit card with you. Since when was cash an illegal tender?

Overall food I ordered was okay.
Ordered the Ayam Penyet. The only place where I can choose breast, or maryland! Not many Indonesian restaurant does that. Chicken was cooked golden, crispy, tender. Tempe bacem is really good, sambal is pretty average, runny texture
They don’t take CASH. Disappointed on that part! I found them quite pricey in term of prices.
I will come back for others menu they got large variety of foods! Great place, clean and modern ambience

Delicious food and a great dine-in venue as well. I’ve tried a few items and have loved everything - a hidden gem in the south east!

Very clean and spacious restaurant. Service was exceptionally good and no complaints. Food was served prompt and tasted ok. The fried maryland was fried very well, most and not dry. Will be back again to try other options. Good job!

The food was ok.but the worst part was they don't take cash! I was horrified. They are contributing to a tragic and sad cashless society. They have no idea.

One needs to drive or bus there. The decor is modern and clean. Transactions are cashless here. We ordered three dishes as a first timer. Disappointing to see the dishes seem lazily prepared, without much evidence of chef skills. They do not warrant the price they charge! Six sticks for $17.80 - chicken satay are very small! The satay sauce is smooth peanut butter instead of coarsely ground peanuts. Only two cucumber slices with tiny squares of red onions. The $16.80 Nasi penyet is chicken Maryland dish - miserably small as well with not much chef skill. The $18.80 Narrabri Asian - chicken wrap was the best of them all - fried chicken and vegetables wrapped in filo type pastry. Overall, I won’t be back for further meals.
