Marina was a fantastic host for our winery tour/ hens. And the food was amazing! Great place highly recommend

Beautiful vineyard with a spacious cafe for lunch, functions, etc. They offer Italian style desserts and nibbles, as well as honey from their own bee hives. The hospitality offered by Tony and Marina was amazing too. I ended up buying their 2015 sparkling blanc de blanc (this was my favourite).

Had a amazing lunch today at Billanook estate. From the share plate, pasta and a couple of red wines. Definitely be back again.

The cafe that runs the cellar door desperately need to work on their customer service. First time there, the greeting was ‘they have been extremely busy’, mind you no one was there. Asked if they were closing or if we could have a glass. Reluctantly said we could have a glass. Husband had a tasting too. She offered no overview of the wine and just sat there with a sour look. We are new to the area so gave them the benefit of the doubt, we all have a bad day, and returned again. Same exact experience, said they had an ‘extremely busy day’, no one was there, it was 3.45. A quick point out of dessert we could have with our wine. But overall, the interactions you could feel were forced to be polite. We felt awkward and unwelcome. We will not give them a third try which is a shame as it is one of our local wineries.

Very disappointed in my experience here, not welcoming at all! Came as a part of a wine tour with a group of friends, Man serving us wine was not polite and ruined the experience for us. First stop on the tour expected to be welcomed and given an experience about their wine and their winery. Would avoid this place next time I’m down in the Yarra valley!

Had a lovely lunch at Billanook estate. Great food and fabulous service from Marina. Scenery is spectacular and the Pinot Noir was outstanding. Will definitely go back!

Very average. Customer service was absent. No enthusiasm in conversation, didn't show any knowledge or interest in the wines we enquired about, found more importance in completing an invoice on the computer than to have a discussion during our paid tasting session. Complained about people not calling ahead because of their busy schedule despite the place being completely empty upon our arrival. Wines were bland but reasonable. Considering the prestige of the area, I would expect better all round.

Came here for a tasting and was a bit dissapointed. The wines were not bad but the customer service left much to be desired. I didn't feel welcomed as a customer and the lady serving us was unable to answer questions about the wine.

One of the most stunning venues on the Yarra Valley. The views are absolutely breathtaking! I was here photographing a wedding for my business Carry Your Heart Photography and I could have kept photographing my beautiful bride and groom all afternoon! The food is authentic and so delicious too! Can't wait to come back to this venue for another wedding.

Billanook Estate was such a great find! If you want authentic Italian food and great views here is the place to come!

I visited Billanook Estate for my birthday I had 14 adults and 6 kids.
The entrees were substantial however the meals were quite average.pasta was tasteless pizzas were ok the kids meals were an absolute rip off, $20 for 5 chicken nuggets and a few chips is a joke. When I booked I specifically asked for a vegan menu for myself and was told I would be catered for but when I arrived all was forgotten. The only saving grace was our waitress Marina who was a delight to deal with, unlike the chef and owner Anna who barely cracked a smile or even acknowledge us.
Nice setting they just need to work on their customer service.

Came here yesterday just for a visit and ended up having lunch and a tasting. Lady who greeted us at the door (wish I remembered her name) was extremely friendly with great customer service. Lunch was great, wines were lovely. Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc were standout! Will definitely be ordering and coming again if back in the area.

Beautiful Italian food, pasta was divine! Wine was also delicious and they had mulled wine too which was great!

My wife and I visited Billanook Estate for lunch and wine tasting with 2 friends. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a corner table with beautiful views over the vineyard with the Yarra Ranges in the background. We each chose an individual flight of 3 wines from the wine tasting list. These were served at the start of the meal so that we could drink with food. The menu had a good variety but we chose from the specials - lasagne and fettucine marinara. We also shared a seafood platter as an entree. We ordered all 4 desserts and shared them between the 4 of us. The wine tasting provided reasonable servings but we supplemented this with a bottle of their very nice Pinot Noir. Throughout the meal the staff were attentive while allowing us to relax and take our time over our meal. We arrived at 12.30 and left at 4.00 pm with a couple of bottles of wine and some local produce. The food and wine were great but the service was outstanding - thankyou to the staff for making it such an enjoyable lunch.

The food at Billanock Estate is authentic Italian and absolutely delicious. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is small but intimate. They have a lovely outdoor area with seating overlooking the vineyards. It’s a little hidden away from the main road. 10/10.

This place is a hidden gem! The best ravioli I have ever had and such beautiful views from where we were sitting.can’t wait to go back. Lovely service

I came here with a small group of friends and will definately be returning next time with my partner or a group for a meal or even a cooking class! The view, wine tasting and service was a lovely experience. Friendly, professional and welcoming hospitality

The food is incredible and the staff are fantastic. This cellar door and restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. Authentic Italian food paired with beautiful wines.

The best food in the Yarra Valley! Tony and Anna have created a fantastic winery. The wine is great. The food is traditional Italian with fresh ingredients.

Do yourself a favour: Go out on the deck with a nice pinot, a bowl of fettuccine and enjoy one of the best views in the Yarra.

Magic wine, delicious food and as always, excellent service. Surrounded by a beautiful view of the Yarra Valley. Can highly recommend this winery!
