Bikaner Sweet & Curry Cafe reviews
59This is the worst biriyani I have ever had. When I asked the staff, replied saying this is what we serve here. Very bad experience. Will never return again.
Having part of our family come down with Covid on Christmas Day we wanted to order something special to have together at home.
It was hard to find anywhere that was open, so we were so happy to stumble upon Bikaner!
We ordered our usual Indian favourites, Saag paneer, Butter Chicken, coconut rice and naan bread (Kashmiri) with pappadums.
We were blows away by the flavours in every dish. We will definitely make this our new local!
Thankyou for making our quiet Christmas at home that much more special!
We went to dine in ordered 2 Jalebi, they serve broken piece of Jalebi, worst experience. People go to dine in and pay money for proper food.
I wish there should be 0 marking I ordered idli and I was not feeling well that day but unfortunately after waiting for 1hr I got stale idlis and it was so smelly.like really? How can you play with someone’s health by giving stale food.
Great dining experience here, the restaurant was neat and clean as well as they are offering the best
Not at all value for money!
Prices don’t match with their online uploaded menu on website such as zomato, which is misleading. When you pick up food you pay more to what they are advertising online. It is a shame.
Chicken Tikka Masala curry had no gravy at all. It was bit salty too.
Food is good and pricing also good. But the girl who was serving with the glasses was not polite and no sense of customer services. So please focus on customer service.
Horrible, terrible and what not.ordered chana bhatura which was over oily plus undercooked.then veg thali.the curries were cold plus full of cream. U can say dal was less nd cream was double, mix veg with foul smell. Naan was so thick that u could see the dough itself undercooked.coming to aloo prantha which was not at all looking like a prantha.it was thicker undercooked dough with just a teaspoon of aloo.we ordered 3-4 things just in a hope may b one will b good but what a waste of money and health.we were sick wen we were back home coz definitely everything was uncooked and stale.go at ur own risk. Specially dnt go of u r reallt hungry coz u can’t rely ok them really.
One of the worst kaju Katli sweet in Melbourne. Was very rough and burnt taste. Please try before buying. Quality of sweets degraded over time. Worst part is even when you provide feedback to owner they were rude and said this is how it is.
I been too many times the service in the counter is one of the worst service ever I can’t give less than one star otherwise I would love too advice to owner it’s very simple to organise some one at least how to take order
Saag paneer and goat vindaloo are our go to at this super casual Indian restaurant/café. Service is generally quick and friendly.
Ordered thali.better than many high priced fine dining restaurants. Loved the food and very reasonable priced
Tasteless food. Only flavour I could taste in my serving of Idli was chilli. Felt as if the idlis were frozen earlier and heated before serving. Sambar was instead like a curry full of potatoes and cauliflower. 2 types of chatni accompanied the idli, but apart from their colour (red/green), they were just the same…. Full of chilli.
Will never repeat and won’t recommend.
Chola bhatoray was tasty but I felt the the size bhatoray is reducing day by day. All food are tasty and the girls are really good at customer service
I found the food very average. Presentation was average too. The staff wasn't welcoming. No smiles on their faces.
Only double vaccinated people are allowed to dine in.
Always fresh and authentic food
Reliable service
Consistently good taste
Hard working staff
Awesome food. The butter naan and dal makhni were super delicious and the service was also pretty good. Superb restaurant!
Zero stars! If there was a negative rating I would give that too! Pathetic experience! I ordered a full tandoori chicken and five rotis, was made to wait 40 minutes without any explanation and on asking for a clarification of the bill, was snapped at by the front staff! The chicken was tough as leather, the rotis were burnt and even the salad didn't have salt on it! Wouldn't bother going back and after reading this, you shouldn't either!
I have dined in a couple of times and it never dissapoints, but I don’t know, what happens with their takeaway. I had mixed chaat done takeaway today and it was completely tasteless, the bhallas and papdi were almost completely dry. It had zero taste. The takeaway taste should be modified, for people to return.
Sad to see such a good restaurant going worse and worse every time we visit it ever so often. Place is filthy, toilets are even filthier, food is average at best (looking at the competition), waiting time is generally above 30 minutes for dine in, but the worst thing about going to this restaurant is the staff itself. Frowned faces, poor communication skills, complete lack of respect for the customers, manager is generally not in to give a feedback in person, hence, this online review. Sorry guys but not coming back again!
